Homewood Suites by Hilton York

We had a lovely visit to York. This hotel was extremely clean, which is my number one priority. Our suite was roomy and comfortable and the layout and furnishings are well thought out and arranged for guests comfort and ease of cleaning. There are plenty of charging ports and convenience items in the kitchen. The lobby, common area, and pool area were very clean as well. Upgrading the pool towels would be nice, as they are very small and scratchy. Breakfast both days was very good, scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, yogurt, waffles, muffins, and good coffee. We were in room 127 which is right next to the back door. Very convenient for us, but the door push bar and closing made noise all night and early morning as people were coming and going. Just something to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper. On checkout morning, housekeeping knocked on our door four times between 10:20-11:00 a.m. as we were packing up, and the first time opened our door while I was still in bed. That ticked me off and they were making us feel rushed. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely recommend and stay here again.

There is a reason this place only has accumulated 3 stars! No early check in without fees. Not a pet friendly hotel! Service dogs welcome although you won’t feel welcomed. Pet fee is almost as much as a full nights stay. Not all of these hotels have the same fee!! After waiting to check in we found out how they would treat a non service animal. Upon that finding, we needed to cancel but the cancellation was the entire room rate. Sadly, how would we have known so the circumstances were special. You keep the money! I was uncomfortable staying and would rather pay elsewhere for that comfort. I don’t care if you have pets are not, they are family! A more reasonable rate would have been fine!! $88.40 is more than I pay for shots and vet fee and there was already going to be a service dog in the room!! We did not stay. We paid to argue with the staff for almost 45 minutes!

One of the nicest rooms I’ve stayed in outside of a luxury hotel. The rooms are massive with a stocked kitchen and full-size fridge. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were perfect. I did everything on my Hilton app. In addition to a mobile key, I could control the temp and the tv, including Netflix. Even the water pressure was good! ||There is a self serve bar in the lobby and the breakfast bar, while typical, was elevated. The eggs had chives and cheese and they served actual kielbasa instead of stale sausage links. Lots of little touches that add up to a great stay! ||If you ever need to be in York, PA this is the place to stay.

I stayed here for one night and was not impressed. I had a few issues with the room. The toilet leaked and the air didn’t work the best. On my way out, I told Fatima about the issues. She was pretty much useless. She didn’t apologize or offer anything to make it right. Her response was “you stayed here”. Well, you have my money. And it’s not like I can just get up and leave at 11 PM. And your bogus $100 hold didn’t help much. If that’s how much you care, then I’ll just stay somewhere else next time. The situation was very poorly handled

Very clean rooms with an efficient layout. The hotel is very nicely appointed with a very modern look to it. The staff here are always friendly and very accommodating. The free breakfast includes eggs bacon hash browns coffee pastries oatmeal and Waffles. There is a fitness room laundry services and a pool. On Wednesdays they offer complimentary drinks between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. they have beers on tap in the lounge which can be purchased using a drinks card that you prepay for. There is also a convenience store inside at offers small meals snacks pop and alcoholic beverages. When the hotel is full the parking can be a little sparse but overall it is not a major issue. There is a gas station nearby which is also a convenience store. The location of this hotel puts you out of the hustle and bustle of downtown York. It is remarkably quiet at this hotel which makes it nice during the evening hours. Business Travelers will find that this is located in a good location with lots of restaurants nearby within about 5 minutes or less via car. There is access to a freeway within a few minutes from the hotel but you cannot hear the freeway from the hotel which is very nice. I've stayed at this hotel multiple times and have never had any troubles or complaints.

Probably some of the best service we have ever received at a hotel by the front desk workers. They are definitely top notch. Would definitely stay at this location and recommend to anyone coming to this area. One of the cleanest if not the cleanest hotel we've ever stayed in.

Very nice place. Good location. The room is laid out nicely. I especially like the Wednesday social hour. Plenty of food and beverages at the social. In fact, so much food and selection, I did not need to go to dinner that evening.

Very nice hotel in a good location. Clean and well kept. Large rooms, nice work out area with new equipment. The check in and check out were a breeze. This is a very good choice if you are in the York area. There are also plenty of dino g options and breweries in the area.
