I've stayed at a lot of Motel 6's. Would not recommend all of them but this one is great! Clean rooms, good price, great location. Thanks for providing an affordable motel experience. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be very disappointing after the third night. I stayed 8 nights. After the third night, the price went up and they didn't tell me, room wasn't cleaned two nights, front desk could care less. They should not be in the hospitality business!

I guess you get what you pay for. I normally read reviews before booking but my fault for not doing it this time, if I had I would not have booked here. We were 3 adults sharing a room, one our elderly mother. The bathroom - 3 towels, 1 was a child size. There was a lot of black hair blocking the bath drain which I hand to remove. Only one hand towel and one face cloth and no soap provided. I asked as politely as I could, at the reception, for the extra items. I got a disapproving look when they were handed to me, nothing said. I thanked her but again she did not respond. The beds- sheets looked wrinkled as if slept in before. There were old stains on the sheets - no more explanation needed! The beds were comfortable though. Very basic, very disappointing experience and will not book at this motel again. Given that, the Motel 6 at Baraboo was much better and I can recommend that one.

It was a place to rest your head. That is all. 1. Checking in, the front desk attendant kept running our card causing a fraud alert. Didn’t apologize, just made sure to tell us it was our fault. 2. No breakfast. No sitting area to speak of. Coffee machine wasn’t functioning properly. 3. Floors in the room are vinyl plank flooring that haven’t been mopped. A bit sticky. Also it appears that it hadn’t been swept before our arrival. I found a straw wrapper and some hair on the floor. 4. 2 towels. That is all. Not very generous. Speaking of generous, they removed the hair dryer off the wall. 2 small bars of soap were provided. No shampoo, conditioner, lotion…nothing. 5. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. 2 small pillows with no extra blanket or pillow in the closet. 6. It was a 2 room “suite” we got for Road America. There isn’t a chair or couch or anywhere to sit in the room. There’s a rolling office chair that I’m sure the folks below us loved and a chair from approximately 40 years ago that had stains. Nope. Not sitting there. 7. Here’s a bright spot, the shower water pressure and temperature were excellent!!! Appreciated after a long day at the track. 8. The toilet however required a hope and a prayer to flush properly. We visited the local Walmart after checking in and donated a plunger to the hotel’s cause. You’re welcome.

This place is not worth the stay. Sure it's cheap but there's a reason. It's like walking into an abandoned building full of squatters. Pretty sure my room was in the hall with all the permanent residents. The lighting is dark so you can't see all the stains in the worn out carpet. It smells like some kind of weird curry. I like curry. This didn't smell like edible curry. My neighbors.....one threw all their linens into the hallway. The other had screaming children and sounded like they were getting slammed against the wall. It sounded like furniture or something else was hitting my wall too but my room didn't have any furniture and I would assume the rooms are all the same. They do have nice laminate floors in the rooms. Probably easier to clean. AC took some work to get going. The TV kept skipping. Security doors were propped open with broken pieces of concrete. Oh, don't drink the free coffee. Tastes like bug juice. Oh, housekeeping did make my bed and took my used towels but didn't leave any new ones. The linen was gross, yellow and did have hair in them. They do have a lot for 18 wheelers though. "Owners" need not reply. I know you're not the owners and you certainly haven't done anything to fix other peoples review complaints.

Room was clean. Nice. Bed was a bit hard. Sheets did not fit right for a king bed. Kept coming off the corners. A,/C would nor reduce humidity and room was cold and muggy. Not very comfortable. Door key had to be redone each day of our 4 night stay. Place smelled of curry all the time. Not a very pleasant smell as they were cooking right next to our room. Only had a coffee bar, no breakfast unless you wanted a PB&J sandwich that cost $1.00! Generally it was a nice place.

Absolutely disgusting. I’ll try to be as detailed as possible. Walked into the room by a door that is supposed to be locked and secure but was not. Anyone can walk in on the side door and go upstairs or downstairs without being seen. My room door was the first room once you came in that door. Not secure at all. The room itself was so bad. No lights except the ones one the bed and those are tiny. Refrigerator had old pizza and fruit. The toilet wasn’t clean and was not even flushed. Bed was weird and the room itself was WET. Blankets were damp, my clothes got damp. This is with and without the AC. So no excuses. There was mold in the bathroom. And like other reviewers said I felt like I was in the middle of a low low low homeless shelter. People are there to live, no judgement on them but judgment on those that don’t keep up after those that are not clean. The place smells like wicked curry and not in a good way. Towels were not in the room either. Don’t bother responding, it’s apparent you will keep running the place into the ground. Horrible owners that can give two cents about any of their guests experience.

I feel lucky that we’re 30 minutes from the track and that the Motel 6 is pretty clean in the big scheme of things. We have four nights here to be at the races 40 minutes north of here. The room looks clean and it appears to be comfortable there were no towels, but she brought them right up.

I wasn’t expecting much but when we entered the room, the towels weren’t in the wall rack but strewn around the room, and the TV wouldn’t turn on. When I asked if I could get another room, I was told they were full—and she handed me two fresh towels and a different TV remote (with no back cover—the batteries showing). What I thought was some sort of stain on the toilet seat wiped off with toilet paper.|When the new remote didn’t work, it turned out the TV was just unplugged—but I had to crawl under the desk to figure that out.|I would go elsewhere, but everything in the area is booked.|We don’t mind the occasional Motel Six, but I’d skip this one.
