Overall, the experience wasn't terrible, but their customer service needs work which seems to be reflected by other reviews here. - The work they did initially was ok, but we had several issues, such as door magnets coming loose, push button cables not being trunked or doors not locking properly from poorly fitted mag locks. We reported these and they fixed all the issues when they returned. - The original installation dragged on for several weeks which was frustrating, not because it was delayed but because we had to keep chasing them in between for updates. First emails often went unanswered, resulting in multiple follow ups. I understand they're a very small company, but IMO that doesn't mean you're so overwhelmed you can't reply to customer emails. I understand the delays were often due to HikVision not having stock in the UK, or the cherry picker being unavailable due to bad weather, but I feel with better planning our expectations could have been set better. - They quoted approx £400 for the Paxton Net2 software (to encode door access cards) which we declined because it's free to download from Paxton. The free version does everything a company could need, so I'm unsure why we would need their paid version. In their defence, I don't think this was intentional as the engineer seemed genuinely surprised the software was free from Paxton. Approximately 2 weeks after install, the software stopped communicating with the Net2 system. When I emailed and asked "Could you point me in the direction of how I'd diagnose and fix this please? ", I received a professional, but somewhat unhelpful response from the owner Lee advising me they would need to " raise a quote for an additional call out to investigate the issue". This is fair, as they didn't sell us the software, but felt unreasonable considering I was simply asking if they knew where I should start looking to solve the problem (myself) directly related to equipment they installed a few weeks ago. If a client had just spent £10k with me, I wouldn't hesitate to send them a few links or hop on a quick phone call to help if it was the first time they asked for it. - The job was finally completed around March 6th when they fixed an issue with the Panoramic camera views. We received invoices dated Jan 31st (when the job was still incomplete) on Feb 28th. We were contacted on Mar 8th advising the invoices were overdue. We explained that despite the date of the invoice, the job had only been completed in the last week after many delays. We advised payment would be made on the March payment cycle. Less than a week later, we were being chased for a payment date again.

I would not recommend this company. They have cost my business thousands of pounds due to poor support and bad communication. I have also been held to ransom by the owner to pay bills that do not make sense. I have also received a ridiculous responce below from this company, who we would have paid if the invoicing was correct in the first place. I ended up paying all of the bill, including the items that were not correct, because I was being held to ransom.
