I really liked the location. The seagulls can be quite noisy without the fan on though. I had told the clerk I needed to get my food and he made an effort to check me in quickly, I appreciated that. I ate at Sergio Hacienda, and it was way better than anything I’ve eaten on the east coast for far cheaper, only a 10 minute walk. It’s only a 15 minute walk to the Gateway Transit Center which was also very nice for any bus services. Port Angeles Inn is located on a hill that you’ll climb stairs up 1st street and walk past Quality Inn. It’s way overpriced for what you get especially for the appearance of the joint. The breakfast is something that’s served at a $70 motel, it’s not like it’s a real continental breakfast. I got a way nicer hotel in Renton a week later with a full kitchen for $125 vs $210 & $310. Which may I add, adding $100 for another day is criminal and wasn’t right. The owners had been complaining about guests doing things (not sure what it was but they were visibly annoyed) and I guess I had to pay for their “crimes.” I suggest anyone try and book way in advance for hopefully a better deal but the Olympic Peninsula Tourism industry is far more pricier than it’s worth. Just go camping and save money when you can if you had to choose.

The rooms could use some updating, it felt very dusty and the bedding looks like it hasn’t been replaced in over a decade. My boyfriend and I stayed for one night and were provided one tiny bottle of shampoo (no conditioner) and a tiny bar of soap. We probably could have asked for more but didn’t think it was worth it. The staff were friendly, and the location is perfect if you’re looking to explore downtown Port Angeles or Hurricane Ridge. The complimentary breakfast was decent, they served coffee/tea, yogurt, cereal, toast, and waffles. For the price we paid for one night, it didn’t feel worth it. But I understand we were booking during peak season.

Call when about an hour away and got a room. One of the last ones but got a harbor view room. It was clean and the staff friendly. We went down to the breakfast room and didn’t realize we were late. The lady told us no problem, take your time. Much appreciated. Located close to the harbor area.

This is a family run small road motel (not a hotel) within walking distance of the heart of the town as well as the ferry dock. For the price it was a good deal. The room was very clean and the views of the waterfront were fantastic. ||Some of the cons: the door card readers at old and need of replacement. Ours didn’t work a majority of the time and we had to go to the office when we would come back for the day (I was told that if we leave the property and if we out the cards near a phone they tend to stop working). There is no ventilation in the bathroom (the window does open but it opens to the public walk way). No A/C so be aware if you stay in the summer. It’s an older building so you hear people when they walk above you. They advise a free breakfast but upon arrival I was told it’s not offered at this time.||For the price and if you’re just looking for a place to sleep this place meets your needs. We stayed here and did a day trip to Victoria B.C.

This is s basic motel. It’s $500/night currently. Absorb that. You can get a nicer room in NYC for that price. I guess they charge these outrageous prices because they can. But it is abysmal quality for the price. Unbelievable.

Positive: Loved the view, it was extremely clean, had an elevater. Negative: Noisy, Had to call the front desk twice to fix TV, second time call 3 times and let it ring forever because dude was outside talking with a buddy, smoking. I could see him, but didn't want to yell at him from 3 floor across parking lot.

Port Angeles is a small place that isn't exactly overflowing with hotels. It functions mostly as a transit location for people taking the Black Ball ferry to and from Victoria BC. |This hotel is up the hill about three blocks from the waterfront / ferry area. The top-floor harbour-view/water-view rooms are the better ones to go for as you do get a nice view of the bustling waterfront. It's an easy walk down to the Wharf building where there are a few eateries and an old-school video arcade. The Rail diner is right there too and has excellent food choices. If it's not raining, a walk along to the marina past the wind turbines is a great way to get some fresh air.|The hotel check-in was quick, even though we arrived just when the ferry arrived so we hit a little glut of people checking in all at once. The room was spacious and clean and reasonably quiet. The bathroom was a bit dated but was clean and everything worked. Given the style of hotel, there was very little room-to-room noise - we couldn't hear the people in the room next to us. The bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was mostly cold items - cereals, fruits, juices, yoghurt but there was bread, a toaster and a waffle-maker. Solid offering and plenty for most people.

Rooms definitely need updating but the location to town was great and view was very nice. Beds were not that comfortable
