Well worth every penny and more, the Vulcan cockpit tour was very interesting, I would recommend of you want to do the Vulcan that you get there early as it fills up quickly for the tour! There was a great selection of planes on display outside with many having access to their cockpits as well. The exhibitions inside were spot on, a great variety of uniforms, models and much much more, even including ejector seats. My uncle and I stayed for 2 hours but could have spent more looking about, we were on a trip back up to Scotland so couldn't dally too long, there was coffee, tea and soft drinks available in reception, the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Souvenir shop was absolutely brilliant, loads of model kits, gliders, things for kids and adults. Can't recommend this place enough, what a visit. If possible I would visit on a day when it's not raining as all the planes are outside, even then though it's still a great place 😀

Only a small exhibition, we had a good look round slowly for an hour including a short film but really interesting and this place deserves a much bigger area if more exhibits were available. If you read all the information it would take longer and we would go again . An important piece of our history and heritage and well laid out. Not just military based as there are old toys and games and typical war time food shop window display. I liked all the aircraft models and engines and the wedding chapel with all the photographs was interesting.

Free entry is always a bonus, donations welcome, and it is easy to find being in Gulliver's World Carpark. Lots of interesting exhibits which give a great incite to how things where. A point that really caught my interest and upset me a little, was the treatment of Black Serviceman. All where welcomed by the local Community but their own 'comrades in arms' insisted on segregated Dance halls ! Go visit.

Fantastic museum with free entry (donations welcomed). Lots of history exhibits on show both indoors and outdoors. Based at the entrance to Gullivers World car park. Highly recommended. Ensure you check opening times as limited and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays too.

Absolutely brilliant. Please support this lovely little museum. Staff are Friendly and knowledgeable. Little gift shop and facilities. Free entry (donations accepted). Make sure you take cash as the don't have a card machine. As it is in the car park of Gullivers World, it's open when they are. Opening time is 2.30. Fabulous displays.

Great displays, knowledgeable staff and good for recommendations of other places. Would recommend for anyone who loves history, and I think schools should go as it’s local and a significant remark due to being one of the biggest sites for the airforce.

Amazing place to visit! We took family from America as his dad serves in the US airforce based at Burtonwood and it was fascinating all the information that was there and Neil who works there was so lovely and informative. It’s a shame the council didn’t preserve some of the history of RAF Burtonwood but we are so glad the heritage centre is there!
