Taken to the Cleaners, by the cleaners...We happened upon the Antlers Inn, in Vernal Utah after a long day of travel. We were looking for a decent hotel, to shower and sleep. We were greeted by a zealously friendly desk manager, who welcomed us and offered us a room at a decent price. The room was outdated, meaning the carpets were in tough shape, stretched out lumpy stained and filhty. The chairs were old, dirty and stained. The shower curtain was stained, the tub was filthy and the grout had mold, the toilet seat was broken and the shower gel was empty. Ususaly this would cause me to take pictures, but we were so tired, I simply showered with my sandals on and went to bed...thinking to myself, well you get what you pay for. Our room looked nothing like the pictures online. Prior to leaving I checked the bed spread to make sure our feet from the carpet had not made any dirt stains or markings, as the carpet was that bad. The hotel offered a voucher for breakfast free at the adjacent eating establishment. It was an older place needing updates and a good washdown. The service was great the food was marginal, the salsa was good. After returning home we noticed that there were 2 more charges on our credit card statement from the Antlers Inn. After calling the hotel to inquire about theses charges we were informed that we had stained the comforter. After requesting pictures 2 days in a row, we received pictures of a blood stained comforter. We only have their word, and not any photo proof on our end. Either they have made a mistake on the room number, or we are being scammed. Book at your own risk.

room was honestly gross [see giant nest of lint and hair in bathroom] but it got the job done i guess. we were just staying over while traveling. ill list what was bleh and what as ah ok... bleh... - dirty bathroom, genuinely don't think it was cleaned (hair and dust everywhere) - chairs were so so stained - bed was questionable... ah ok... - even though the bathroom was dirty the toilet was luckily not super gross - cute little pool area (off season, didn't swim, but looked clean) - location is great! - in front of room parking - friendly staff

Stayed for an entire week and would have enjoyed the room more had it been furnished correctly with coffee to begin with and the one time you cleaned, you give us coffee but failed giving us more toilet paper! Really?

I stayed in a pet room with my 3 dogs and we all know to expect some stains in a pet friendly room so I don't mind the carpet, it was big enough to set up my doggie play pen in the bathroom area for my puppy so she couldn't get into trouble. The beds were comfy and clean. The front desk lady was amazing. It's older and could use some updates but you can tell the rooms are painted and cleaned. One thing I think should be standard are the wooden shutter blinds they have, no stupid curtains that don't block anything, really nice touch. The bathroom light is a bit rusty from the humidity and the fan makes a squeak which probably leads to the light problem. I'd 100% stay again.

We had a great stay for Labor Day weekend. Our room was spacious, updated, and very clean. The pool was well taken care of and was the perfect temperature. The hotel provided food vouchers for a restaurant next door which was convenient. We will stay again!

Have stayed here every August for past 7 years. Never before has it been so clean & nice with everything working. Really like what new owner is doing for this motel. Love the spacious very clean rooms as well as price. So nice to meet Jamie, the new manager. She was so pleasant & made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Thanks. Hope to do business with you again next year.

Took my family up to Vernal for the Dino "soar" days. The lady at the front desk was nice and let us check in 20 minutes early. We took everything into our room and we're a bit taken back how dirty the floors were and visible stains on the furniture our sheets had huge nasty stains all over them including a fry sauce cap stuck to it. I took the bedding into the host and she took me back to get new ones. I have never stayed anywhere before where I wanted to pack my family up count my losses and get a different hotel for the night. I'd like the add we paid up for the "nicer" room. The location is great but that is the only positive thing I have to write about. Very disappointed with our stay.

Light fixtures are falling out of ceilings, air units are falling out of walls, chairs are broken, tubs are filthy, there are no chains or extra latches for doors for safety, plugs in sink are stuck and you can't use them without flooding, they will not care to refund or discount your room
