Studio 6 San Antonio

The staff is amazing. From the moment I checked in I was treated with courtesy and attention. Amy at the front desk couldn't have been better at her job. Quickly and efficiently getting us checked in and to our room, explaining everything, answering all of our questions and giving us suggestions for local places....all at 3am! The housekeeper we had for our stay, Michelle, was also a joy. She's quite the burst of energy and always greets u with a smile. Our room was always clean and ready for us to return each evening. A light went out and they sent this lovely man to fix it right away. I didn't get his name but he's a very pleasant man with a beard. All in all we were completely satisfied with our stay from start to finish. The rooms are very spacious and clean (and have FULL kitchens) and they are quick to attend to things that may unexpectedly pop up. The area may seem a bit rough at first glance but it's really not bad at all and the staff at studio 6 help to make sure they stand out. Highly recommend

Terrible Motel roach, mouse and black mold invested. Leaky sinks and toilets. Unsafe stairs. Allow the homeless, tweakers, dealers to hangout on the stairwells at all times of the day and night. I'm all most positive the receptionist in the evening is on something. If you trying to get your fix or a hooker this is the spot to go. I'm sure the night receptionist can point you in the right direction. The only night security that does their job is the Tall older gentlemen and his wife. Don't wate your time complaining about noise or anything cause nothing will be done

First of all its $78 a night they do have a $50 deposit even though the sign says 100 in the lobby. It's nearly impossible to get the door opened. Keep in mind this is a sketchy area of town. The place isn't well kept. There definitely aren't any utensils or any type of dishes for it to have a "kitchen" with so many drawers and cabinets. (Saying how some other reviews have them) The bed feels like a box spring and won't offer much sleep. It looks like a $35 a night hotel, but they might just be getting by with the price because of their "kitchen." When it comes to the bathroom... the bathtub isnt cleaned out it has who knows what caked on the inside as well as both sink and bath tub are leaking. This place is a joke. 10/10 wouldn't recommend it.

My Granddaughter and I spent 08/14 - 08/18/2023. The Owners/Managers were so kind and helpful. I use a cane and couldn't make it up and down the stairs over and over so they put us in a great room right by the office. The room was comfortable and clean, bed was great. As others had posted about dirt, mold, smells, insects... We experienced NONE of these problems. The pool area was clean and the water was amazing and relaxing from the days of over 100 degrees. I left a couple of items in the room by mistake and the lady called me while I was going through TSA to let me know. I'll send her money to mail the items. I look forward to visiting this location again since my other granddaughter is stationed at Fort Sam for the next year.

We stayed here for my partners BMT graduation, we liked that the hotel was close to the base, but the area is kinda sketchy. there was a lot going on outside during the evening that you could hear while sleeping. The housekeeper was very kind and brought us towels and toilet paper. The room was slightly dirty, we found a few dead insects and wipe stuff down. thankfully no bed bugs! Floor was super dirty got my socks dirty after two seconds of walking on it. The warm water would go away and we’d have to shower with cold water. Overall it was an ok experience, the bed was comfortable and we were able to rest a bit more since we were closer to the base, so our experience was pretty 50/50.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, but despite our initial happiness when seeing the room and the kitchen, it quickly dissappeared when we saw the amount of cockroaches this room had. At almost any time, wherever you looked, you could see one scurrying around. Apparently not every room is like this, but ours and another coworkers were the same, infested with cockroaches. They were in the kitchen, the beds, the restroom, even inside the fridge. The tub in the bathroom leaked water everywhere. The bathtub was extremely slippery as well, I nearly fell the first time I took a shower. Everything just seemed a bit old and rundown. It's a shame, because at first the room looked good and staff was nice.

The kitchen had nothing in it, no plates, pots/pans, nothing. Bathtub didn't drain. Housekeeping only made one of our 2 beds and left us with no towels. At 12:37 am someone with a key card opened our door. Luckily we had the security latch engaged. They were only able to open the door an inch or so. Transients loitering in parking lot and on stairs. Felt very unsafe. No light bulb in our light over the table.

Stayed here for about 6 days and did not have no problems, staff is friendly and we had no problem extending our stay as we needed. They also have night security and he is very cool and understanding. Everyone here minds there business overall I'll come stay here again
