Texas Lakeside RV Resort

We were in Texas Lakeside for almost a year & we really liked it. My favorite months were when Angie was the manager, she was so welcoming and nice. Laundry room on site with good amount of machines and a quarter machine that accepts up to $20 bills. I really appreciated the mailing table and how they wrote everyone’s last name on the packages so we could see the name better. Will definitely be back if husband gets a job in Port Lavaca again.

Very clean park - Hot tub, Pool and Laundry kept up very nice. Very nice club house and setting area. Appears to be a fairly new park with concrete streets & Level concrete pads. Angie & Warren were very accommodating and helpful from day one. Very quiet at night. We were happy to be able to sleep. Thank You Angie & Warren for the enjoyable stay.

Let me just say that we have been to a few RV parks, and this one was by far the best! The front office staff is really well-kept and friendly. We had a last-minute work trip and arrived about 8 p.m., and they had our paperwork ready on the board. It's a pretty quiet community that is gated, which is a plus! We definitely plan to return!

Pros: Very clean park, nicely laid out around a pond (hence the name). Really nice clubhouse with a deck on one side of the pond. Almost level concrete pads with green grass at every site (in February!). Friendly folks running the place.||Cons: For a "resort" there are almost no services; like ice for sale or propane (they send you across town for that). There are no picnic tables (Really? Come on...) and campfires are not allowed so no fire rings (a camping essential). You have to sign a two-page list of rules (dont do this, cant do that) to the point where you feel like you need permission to do anything.||Overall, this is a nice facility and we will return. Maybe they will have picnic tables by then.

Definitely lost ot RV Resort feel Yeah it has a pool & hot tub. Both were dirty and the bubbler on the HT was out of order. The laundry facilities smell like backed up septic. Most of the time half are out of order. If you like Tejao music , you will like it there. 1 tenant is always playing it louder than reasonably acceptable in an area. Dog run has poop in the yard. No one picks up. Office is very seldom open . The hours of operations are few. Had someone come though and take personal property from a tenant. Says there are cameras at the park but from what I saw, there are only ones up front. None around the back but there are warning signs. From what I was told, this Park used be well maintained and people were always present on site. General reviews, it's falling apart.

What can I say. The only thing I really took away from here is ants. Tons of ants. Not just my rig but spoke to some of my neighbors. They too had ants. The area is not very quiet. Lots of road noise. And get a PO box. The mail system box is open territory. Lock your storage.

We spent January and February at this RV park. Angie and Warren were great. Friendly and helpful with all the guests. We enjoyed the walking path around the lake. The resort was clean and cozy. We enjoyed spending time with them and their dog Dakota very much!

Stunning Rv resort. Great amenities for all ages kids and adults. My kids enjoyed roaming around and found interest in their book selection in their main building. Laundry rooms and public restrooms are very well maintained and clean. Rv lots are very spacious which is always a plus! We’re hoping to come back in the summer time to enjoy the pool! Nonetheless I highly recommend this Rv park especially if you’re looking for a family friendly stay.
