Super 8 by Wyndham Plainview

My name is Lorenzo Greenwood. My crew and myself recently stayed at SUPER 8 in Plainview Texas. Judy and Haley were Awesome! We got service everyday and their kindness was five star. I wanna thank Judy for courageously serving and giving us proper management on leadership. We will definitely be revisiting as soon as work is in that location. Peace to SUPER 8. Super 8's aren't consistent from one location to another. The room rate was good. The room was clean and had no issues other than there not being nearly enough outlets near the bed. Room was clean. There was plenty of hot water along with great water pressure. Public areas are dated and dingy. The breakfast offering was packaged items, weak coffee and really not worth coming down for. If you don't need a pool, or expect a good breakfast in the morning, and are there to just stacy one night, it's fine.

Needs a ton of updates. Lobby had lights going in and out and reeked of cigarette smoke. AC in room took a whole day to cool the room. The bathroom door wouldn’t close properly and appeared to have been cut to shape in order to avoid hitting toilet. Not all lights worked in the room and the room wasn’t cleaned between guest. There was hair and stains all over the bed. I found a dirty pair of women’s underwear still in the room. I found a house roach crawling on the side of the bed. The place where the mini fridge is placed does not allow for the door to open. I had to open the door just enough for my fingers to fit in to lift and then open the door completely. The room door looked as though someone had previously kicked it in. The room also was not good at keeping sound in. A baby could be heard crying from several rooms down. Breakfast was practically nothing. Reviews I have read appear to be left by people who haven’t truly stayed at this hotel. My only compliment to the place was the staff. They were very nice and friendly.

The evening check-in guy was friendly and helpful, but things went downhill quickly. The blanket on the bed was very thin, the bulb over the sink in the bathroom was out, and my key had to be reset before I could get into my room. The next morning, the hair dryer did not work. A man did come to replace the bulb in the light over the sink. Each time I came and went from the room, I had to get my key reset because it was not working. This motel seems to be an excellent spot for construction workers and truckers. I would not recommend it to a woman traveling alone or for a family

Extremely outdated facility from the motel itself to the rooms. No pool, no coffee maker, no USB outlets or extra plugs. The ac struggled all day. You get a muffin for breakfast if you're lucky. The only decent review is the location to fast food. Otherwise try a different location.

There is no pool and as far as the Continental breakfast goes you’re getting cereal and yogurt or muffins! There’s no coffee pot in the room just all around disappointed! They definitely do not have everything they advertise!

Positive: "" Negative: I was hugely disappointed when we went down for breakfast and found out that they no longer have a hot breakfast with eggs, meat, waffle maker, etc.; sadly only continental. Worst part was waking up itching under my right arm and finding bed bug bites. 😞

You get what you pay for. Room was pretty clean, no bugs so that's a plus. The sink drain didn't work, had to rig it up so it would drain. No elevator but easy stairs to walk up. Pool is a hot mess so don't expect to jumo in any time soon.
