H-E-B‘s are grocery store staple in Texas, and they are everywhere. There are a few that stand out over the rest, and this is one of them. They have a huge selection of products, a great produce section, a decent bakery, and a ton of things that are harder to find other stores. Their deli is not the biggest, unfortunately, and the meat section could be a little bit bigger, but the rest of it is great. They could also use maybe a larger parking lot.

This was my favorite HEB In the past year the situation has become terrible. The store is dirty. The floor is dirty. Stock is terrible. Wires everywhere. They move refrigerators. Smell of bad food. The store needs better management and total remodeling. It is a lot of out of date food. Bad food. Smells bad. Please take care of my review

I really like this heb. I lived by the 7th street HEB then the Hancock HEB for decades, and I prefer Far West over both. My 3 stars are for the pharmacy: they’re always kind and work fast. There’s rarely a line. I’m taking 2 stars off because of what others have said: it’s a bit dirty and there’s frequent construction, which doesn’t bother me, but my negative feedback is that the aisles are too narrow since curbside has taken off. Today I had an employee (who was polite) reach around and over my head to do his curbside work in produce. I’ve been assaulted (1/5 women have) and it scared the heck out of me. I don’t blame the employee — but I do feel like this store is for the curbside shoppers and those who shop inside don’t matter. Curbside employees are in a rush, they push through shoppers with huge racks, they don’t excuse themselves so we can’t know they’re coming, and they have long conversations in front of product so in-person shoppers can’t reach what they need. I don’t use curbside because I don’t want to sometimes… not sure why but it really seems like Far West wishes we’d all use curbside and not come indoors. It’s frustrating! I won’t stop shopping here, and I have no clue how management could improve, but I wanted to give feedback in case it could help.

EDIT #3: They've upgraded their freezer section, new organization, new row. I find it much cleaner and the products less crowded. Great improvement! EDIT #2: Post major weather event of 2021, this location has done a great job getting their shelves restocked. Only area showing some scarcity was the dairy department with milk. If you are game for almond or oat milk, you're good. But regular milk was scarce. Photos other than quiche are from this visit. EDIT #1: As noted, they don't always have advertised products. But lately it's been absurd! I've been trying for WEEKS to purchase a Meal Simple Apple and Grain product. I've done curbside and it will be in stock when I order, but unavailable when they shop. When I use shopping services, they never find it. When I go, AM or PM, if the app says it's there, it's not. And right now they have quiches in their place (see photo). And there is a sale, so I would think they would prepare more considering the attraction due to the sale offer. Also right now cherry turnovers are on sale, but shopping services find them missing and I can't find them in the morning or at noon. This is crazy frustrating! 😠 But there are plenty of apple turnovers in their place. ORIGINAL REVIEW It is always clean and products are always fresh. Employees have always been willing to assist me when I have had a question. The parking lot is also extremely well-lit. The only reason I cannot give the store 5 stars is that it does not always have all the products that are advertised in the weekly ad.

Another reason to love HEB. It is Thanksgiving moring and I am noticing lots of kindly priced items on the shelf. Knowing HEB, this is no accident. A fully stuffed chicken for a bargain price is going to bless someone today. If you are from out of town and wonder why locals are foolishly loyal - this chicken says it all. Love ya HEB🦃❤❤

This is easily the worst HEB I’ve ever been to. They don’t have things that almost every other store does and if they do it’s not in stock. This is the only grocery store in the area so it sucks I have to drive 10+ minutes to get anything.

I really love my HEBs! They have awesome prices, fresh organic foods, and a great selection of wine and beer plus the deals when on sale. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help out. This one’s a supercenter, so they’ve got barbecue and my favorite beers in bottles instead of cans. Plus, there’s a huge parking lot and HEB’s low-priced, good-quality gas. What’s not to love it?
