A friend and I stayed a night at Kyle and Laura Kirschenmann's Farmhouse Inn in May 2025 while riding motorcycles on the South East Backcountry Discovery Route. The accommodations, food, hospitality and conversation were all awesome. And Kyle was nice enough to help us the next morning when my friend got a flat rear tire on his motorcycle about 10 miles from the B&B. Will definitely stay there the next time I'm in that area.

Farmhouse Inn is THE place to stay in Tellico Plains! Laura was an amazing host, from the moment we arrived (soaked after a day riding in the rain), she provided everything we could have asked for. The rooms are great, comfortable beds and great atmosphere. The next morning we got a home cooked breakfast, I can’t describe how delicious it was. I highly recommend a stay here if you are in town!

Wow is all I can say. The Farmhouse Inn is awesome. I am so happy I picked this place to stay. Laura, Kyle and even Roger were awesome hosts, and I could not have enjoyed my stay there anymore than I did. Beautiful inside and out and very clean and homey. I felt so welcome from the minute I walked in the door and never have I stayed anywhere in all my life traveling where I enjoyed myself immensely. Everything about the Inn is wonderful and beautiful. Felt like home. My room was so very cozy and comfortable and was always so clean, peaceful and quiet. Laura is an awesome cook and prepared breakfast everyday for us and even accommodated my "gluten intolerance" problem and made sure that I did not have anything with gluten in it. I really enjoyed the fact that she hung around and shared stories with us during breakfast. Both Laura and Kyle were always so gracious and very kind. I really didn't want to leave. My first time to Tellico Plains and I will never stay anywhere else but the Farmhouse Inn when I visit Tellico Plains. I also really enjoyed the game room that was over the garage. Kyle has such an awesome collection of memorabilia. The front porch patio was so relaxing and enjoyable. Very beautiful and peaceful. Thank you so much Laura and Kyle. Can't wait to come back in September for another memorable vacation. Best wishes to you both and to Roger. Loved that cat.

The Farmhouse Inn is great - an awesome historic restored home. Laura is very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are quaint and very comfortable. Breakfast was perfect. Great BnB stay!

I felt like home as soon as I got here. Laura let use get in early. The beds are so comfortable pillows were comfortable very clean. The breakfast is delicious. I love that they are family oriented. The owners ate breakfast and chitchatted with us. Kyle mapped out some routs for us to go riding beautiful scenery. We got to wash the bikes down before loading them back up. Laura all so gave us towels to try the bikes. They are very very nice people. Always making sure we are ok. We had clean room and clean towels every day. The shower had great pressure great hot water. Very clean very clean. I am already planing on coming back next year. This is better than staying at Air BnB. This place is Wonderful.

Beautiful place to stay and highly recommended. Incredibly friendly hosts with amazing bedrooms/showers/lounge area. Also great laundry service and a chance to play pool and darts. I got to meet the beautiful cat named Roger. Such a memorable stay. Myself and my three friends were hiking the Benton Mackaye trail and we were welcomed with such kindness. Thank you Laura for a wonderful experience. 😎

Mark and I had a wonderful 3-night stay at the Farmhouse Inn over the holiday weekend. The B&B was one of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in and Laura’s breakfasts were beautiful as well as delicious. You can tell that the owners have put much thought into the rooms —from the fluffy white towels, well placed hangers for bikers clothes, comfortable beds and bedding, good toilet paper (lol) and I could go on and on! We also loved sitting on the front porch and playing with their precious pups and cat, Roger. They were so sweet and well behaved. Laura was available for our every need. We visit this area multiple times a year on our bike and are looking forward to staying here again very soon!
