We stayed from May 24 until the 29th, 2024. Celebrating our 50th Anniversary.|This was our 5th time renting with Dollywood Cabins but the first time under the new management name Bear Cove Cabins.|Unfortunately this might be our last visit. The views and weather were very nice. However the accommodations were not so nice. Our cabin (Heavenly Sunrise) was filthy; full of dirt, food crumbs, dead bugs on the floor. The furniture had bed bugs. We were told they had an oversized stuffy chair for my wife, but that was not the case. She wasn't able to get comfortable anywhere with her bad back.|The oven door fell apart on our second day and was never repaired during our stay.|It laid open on the floor making very difficult to do anything in the kitchen.|The front desk were not very accommodating and never once apologized for the problems.

With a group of 5 adults and 4 children, we had an amazing stay!||For a few nights during Fall Break 2023, the crew including myself stayed in the Blue Smoke View cabin. A screened porch with hot tub, and a game room were notable luxuries of the cabin itself. A magnificent view of mountains was another perk. The usual luxuries of home including a full kitchen and washer & dryer also came in handy for our good sized crew.||Lovely pine wood covers the walls and ceilings. Bear themed lamps and wall art also complement the interior. Only a few imperfections were noticed. Some of the vents and at least one bathroom fan had a little dust buildup, as did the furnace unit. Climate control seemed to work fine, although for the sake of maintenance, it might be worth giving attention/cleaning. A few loose floor boards behind one of the bunk beads and some loose play on a couple door knobs are some other minor things that could get fixed.||I didn't handle booking or communicate with management myself, although they did seem professional and attentive. At one point, a fuse was blown and power was lost in one of the bedrooms. Management was quite to respond to the matter, and the problem was fixed within a few hours.||Beautiful accommodations inside and out, a lovely Smoky Mountain view, close proximity to Dollywood and other entertainment, and excellent management. An easy recommendation for large groups visiting Pigeon Forge!||(NOTE: The actual name of the business/rental group seems to be Bear Cove Cabins. Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Cabins, as titled on Tripadvisor, could be an older or alternate name. Based on internet searching, Dollywood Cabins and Bear Cove Cabins have the same address and phone contact info.)

The cabins were a bit past their prime. Five of us stayed two nights. |>When I made reservations, 1st agent offered the discount 2nd agent did not, I had to ask. |>They were not knowledgeable about the cabin's stock and did not say they had limited stock on essentials ( No tissues) . Far down in the contract noted that they only provide essentials for 1 day. I would have expected more, lat least like a cheap hotel|>The kitchen was not stocked well, and there were no Pot holders ( a dangerous omission ) , no cutting boards, and the utensils were mishmash. |>The water was not hooked up in the fridge so no ice - a sign would have been nice. |>The TV / Streaming unit did not work right - the over the air programming voices were over the movie we were trying to watch |>Could not change the speed of the overhead fan. |>The furniture was tired, the chair was scary diry, and the faux leather that was worn so coming apart |>The furnture was not arranged well and was crowding the dining table.|>The toilet ran all night ||>Office was only open 9-6 | >Only reason for the 2 stars he bedrooms were nice and it was clean.|| Go someplace else .

I felt compelled to write a review, because I struggled to find really good cabin reviews a great deal were negative and being from the UK we had limited experience on reputable cabin companies, there are a lot of companies as well as private owners. We finally booked Bear Cub Den through Bear Cove Cabins the preferred Dollywood cabin company, (I guest you could say we played it safe) we were very apprehensive, thinking maybe we should have booked a hotel, however we wanted an authentic cabin experience with Mountain View’s so we took the plunge. |No regrets, the cabin was superb, spotlessly clean (Which is most important) all the amenities you needed, towels/bed linen supplied, two king bedrooms, two bathrooms, hot tub, pool table, ideal for 2 couples. The Mountain View’s were beautiful. If I had to be picky the cabin itself could benefit from a little TLC / Updating but it delivered everything we needed and was comfortable, we loved it! I would definitely stay again and would recommend!

We stayed in Starry nights managed by Bear cove cabins at Dollywood. The cabin was really clean, and everything worked. Linens were provided, however we didn’t have enough wash cloths for the amount of guests we had. There were plenty of towels. This was not a big issue. The hot tub was nice and there is a beautiful view from the porch. Overall good experience and we would stay here again.

Great experience in our first trip to the Smokies. Booking the trip was easy and the website and staff were helpful. The cabin is about 4 miles from Dollywood. Our view was amazing. Loved that we could see a few of the attractions in Dollywood from the balcony. The cabin was clean and well furnished. The pool table was great. The ping pong table was a B but the kids loved it. Great views from every room. Hot tub was great and clean. Wish it was a foot higher so the railing didn't obstruct when fully immersed. Convenient to Pigeon Forge - about 10 min drive to grocery store. Had a washer and dryer. Plenty of space for two or three cars. I would come back!

We stayed in "Over the Moon" cabin managed by Bear Cove Cabins at Dollywood. The cabin was very clean and everything worked. After reading past reviews, I was afraid the cabin would not be well cleaned. However, the cabin was spotless and well decorated (even had a decorated Christmas tree for our Dec visit), We had fun playing pool, air hockey, and ping-pong and enjoyed the hot tub while taking in the beautiful mountain view. We could see a Dollywood roller coaster in the distance from our deck. Although the cabin is listed as a one bedroom, in addition to the king size bedroom with attached bathroom downstairs, there was a second king size bed with fireplace, TV, and attached bathroom in the great room upstairs (which also contained the pool table and air hockey/ping-pong table). The hot tub was located on the upstairs deck. We chose to sleep in the upstairs bed and were very comfortable. The living room downstairs also had a fireplace and TV. The WiFi worked fine. I would recommend staying at "Over the Moon" cabin.

First and foremost our cabin had hardly any water in the hot tub we were charged to use to where it was spraying you in the eyes from the Jets. There were coke bottle lids in it from the people before us which was God only knows how long because it was filthy dirty with spiders weds and dirt so bad you barely wanted to touch it. Yes I took many pictures. The balcony was so loose the maintenance man on call said he couldn't even fix it he had to rig it until someone more qualified could get to it. So it was very dangerous especially for the children. There were screws through the wood that didn't even fit. Again I have pictures, there were so many webs inside the cabin we were bit 7/8 times within hours of being there so we were breakfast lunch and dinner to spiders of all kinds. I have videos of them just walking on the stairs. The TV kept shutting off on its own which made it hard to watch. They charged me a HIDDEN cleaning fee but told us we had to do the dishes and take out all garbage before we left which we did and again took pictures. We couldn't use the hot tub but one night and was charged each night for the hot tub. They charged us for an accidental damage fee which not one thing was damaged again we took pictures of it all. We did not enjoy this cabin and only stayed in it to sleep. We used the hot tub the last night we were there but so worried about the balcony we didn't stay in it long at all. I am so beyond disappointed in this cabin and thought so much more of Dollywood before this experience. I will make sure to let everyone know. When I called and ask for a manager they refused to get on the phone and offered a 3rd of my money back but emailed me two different prices I was charged I will be having that checked into. I have stayed at hotels for less than 100 a night that was way better than Dollywood cabins. A very sad experience for sure.
