We recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally comfortable experience, but there were a few issues that definitely need improvement. Positives: The room was very clean and tidy, which we appreciated. However, the floor near the air conditioning unit was noticeably soggy—something housekeeping or maintenance really should address. It was uncomfortable and odd to step onto a damp floor inside the room. Room for Improvement: One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was the included breakfast. That’s a big selling point for us, especially when traveling on a schedule. Unfortunately, the breakfast was a major disappointment. We came down at 7:10 AM, needing to be on the road by 7:45 to pick up our daughter from camp. There weren’t many people in the dining area, but the food was already gone. By the time more items (including the waffle batter) were brought out, we didn’t have time to eat or stand in line. We left hungry, which was frustrating and really disappointing. There were also no napkins available in the women’s bathroom downstairs—another small but noticeable oversight that left a poor impression. Finally, I’d recommend including the hotel’s physical address and phone number in the welcome email. It seems like a small thing, but it’s incredibly helpful when traveling. Overall, while the room itself was clean and comfortable, the soggy floor, lack of breakfast availability, and restroom oversight made the stay less enjoyable than it could have been. A few small improvements would go a long way.

The hotel was comfortable but is dated. The breakfast is minimal and after being in many Choice hotels—it didn’t win many points. The plus is chocolate chip cookies at check-in. The location is easy for off and on to Highway. Also, there are stores and restaurants nearby. The front desk was friendly and offered to help with any questions. When we checked out—the desk attendant was courteous. Although the place s dated—there are things to do that can make an appearance of organized and tidy.

We arrived. Checked in. Sergio at the front desk was polite. Went to the room and dropped off our luggage because we were late meeting family for dinner. Got back to the room and started to get ready for bed. Discovered that the linen and stains that looked like blood and urine stains. I called the front desk to be moved to another room. By this time it’s almost 10pm and my 4 year old is tired and restless. Was took the hotel was booked but we can bring you new linen! By this time we are just gonna sleep in our clothes on top of the sheets and check out in the morning! No offer to comp the room. An hour later 2 women show up to “check the sheets on the bed! Time now is 11:13pm! Kids are trying to sleep and accept that at this point there is no hotels close and we have to be up by 6am to get to 8am graduation. To say that we WILL NEVER EVER stay here again! I am still awaiting the hotel managers call! Do better!!

Best bed I've slept on this entire road trip. No showerhead adjustment at a height for short people-maybe why water strength wasn't very strong. Breakfast was okay.

Warning: cockroaches in their rooms. There was leftover food from previous guests. Had to connect lamps because they were disconnected. Toilet is uneven. Sink leaks. The hand bowl was installed backwards and the vent is under the spout. They clogged the vent so water doesn't go in there... Who is their maintenance? Things are held up by tape. They did have friendly staff.

I wasn't really looking for extravagant, just nice and cozy and that's what we got. The room was nice and clean, the air was nice and cold and I was able to adjust it with no problem. The only down side was, the drink machine didn't work, and there was no ATM to get cash, but I was able to purchase drinks at the front desk for .50 cents cheaper. The elevators were a little musty. The stay was nice and quiet and we met nice ppl at the breakfast knuck There was a hot breakfast w/o meat. But it was still nice I give them 3 out of 5 stars.

Well there is a lot to say about this place, shower curtain and rod halfway ripped out the wall, the tv didn’t work to well in room 130, the bed felt like a pallet of cinder blocks, location is very nice good white side of town! But I used 45,000 points to book and still had to pay for a deposit, I’m sorry but not okay, I used 45,000 points for basically a rodeway inn room.

Positive: Great location, but horrible experience due to other people smoking in rooms next to me. Negative: The smell of cigarette smoke in my room at all hours of the day from other people smoking in adjacent rooms was bad enough for me to never stay here again. horrible. I reported it to the front desk, but they didn’t take any action.

Had an overnight stay, hallway had an overwhelming smell of marijuana, which I’m sure facility has no responsibility in it. Our room was clean, bathroom door was broken and made it difficult to open once closed, windows were cracked with a quick fix with what seemed like tape. But it was cheap for the night so I guess there’s not much to complain about that.

VERY UNETHICAL!!!!! They charge a $100 refundable deposit for smoking in the room. I don't smoke so I was not concerned about the deposit. I began to check on my refunded deposit which could take a couple of weeks. When I called to check, they claimed I had smoked in the room. SCAM! BEWARE! I have tried to get an answer to how they determined that I smoked in the room. All I get is they have an investigative team and they "smelled" that I had smoked. Nothing else! The room was musty when I checked in but not bad enough to warrant an issue. They do nothing to clean the room outside of a normal clean so I would bet the next guest had to pay the $100 smoking fee as well. Of course they will not give any additional information. They claim they sent me an email the day I checked out that I had smoked in the room. Funny that I got my receipt emailed to me and a survey emailed to me.... but I didn't get the email they claim they sent. Go figure. I would recommend finding another place to stay that may have better ETHICS. Very poorly run!

Room was clean and as described. Check in/out quick and friendly. Continental breakfast was well stocked, large selection, and very neat and clean. My only issue was when we walked into our room around 4pm, it was HOT! It's July in Memphis, with heat indices around 104 the days we were there. And our room was on the top floor. Please be more considerate of your guests and do not completely turn off the AC. A friend was staying in the same hotel on 2nd floor, and had the same issue. Except they didn't check in until after 8 pm and there was no way to get the room to a comfortable sleeping temp at that time. Thank goodness they had a rechargeable fan with them. There was also no AC on in the hallway of the 3rd floor the majority of the time we were there. It's too hot right now to totally turn off AC.

Great place to stay. Staff was awesome making sure I had everything I need. Rooms were clean and comfortable. They had air on when I got to room, and believe me that was nice after being out in 90 degree weather all day. Definitely be on my stay again list
