Be very wary of their T's & C's if you decide to leave Penstone Communications. We wanted to leave as we had found a more feature rich solution and at a much better price, and informed Penstone of our intention more than two and a half months prior to the renewal of our annual contract. Were they understanding and gracious with our departure after years of being a loyal customer? I'm afraid not! We were forced to pay not only for those 3 months but also for the whole of the forthcoming year i.e. 15 Months in all (even though they weren't providing any services) simply because we should have given them a full 3 months notice prior to renewal, rather than the 2.5 months that were given. In our opinion, this constitutes sharp practice and an unwillingness to allow Clients to leave Penstone without penalising them for having gone elsewhere despite years of being a loyal customer. Their only concession when trying to negotiate and point out the ridiculous nature of their terms of trading was a measly £10.75 discount.
