Great park! It's a lovely quiet and peaceful place for a walk and picnic on the island. Perfect place for the kids to run and explore nature, there's a sandpit playground with a new slide. They're toilets and benches around the lake. It's perfect for families with kids. My boy loves it there cause he can run all along the park.

Lovely nature reserve with a lake and canal for fishing, boating, etc. Great kids play area. Reasonably priced cafe with outside seating with views across the lake. Miniature railway and extensive nature trail. Great day out in the sunshine 🌞

First time here and it was great, a really nice few hours from home, fairly good parking, peoples enjoying themselves kayaking and paddle boarding in the water, a sand park for the children, the boat house cafe for a little pizza, milkshake, ice cream and toilets nearby. All this amd it still felt very peaceful and relaxed. I'll definitely be back!

This is a great little place, you can take all sorts out on the water at around £5 per vessel. The Café is great, selling a wide range of food but the site doesn't mind you taking a picnic. People seemed to respect the surroundings which is great, no litter or random dog cr*p around. Dogs must be on a lead at all times. There is a campsite as well right by the water that sectioned off away from the Day time public visitors. Kids play area and also not far at all from the Sea as you can see from the pictures + Footage here:

Beautiful canal/lake tho needs a bit of a clean up. The cafe is temporarily closed. Free parking, can kayak etc in lake. Great place for dogs. Plenty of greenery for them to run around

Lovey open space for the dogs apart from the ditches where the dogs come home black and smellie.

Great little place with a toddlers play area and mini sand pit and a lovely path around the lake, dogs welcome on leads, and cafe and toilets on site. Really lovely little park with bonus of free parking and close by beach opposite.
