Peak District National Park -

I been there for first time. Honestly I like the view and amazing place. In that day I travel more than 12 miles, this was incredible. If you need fresh air and relaxing environment this is for you. Peak District offers stunning landscapes, rolling hills, and beautiful villages. We visited Mam Tor, Speedwell Cavern, Poole's Cavern, Cave Dale, had an adventurous hike to the B29 Overexposed crash site and more. The park is home to diverse wildlife, interesting historic sites, and diverse hiking trails making it perfect for everyone. If you are looking to escape into nature, this is a must visit destination!

Loved this park- lots of trails up/down the big peak and little paved lanes down into town. Beautifully maintained for a park that’s free to enter! Very dog friendly, I’d imagine it gets busy on the weekends. Along the paved lane into town you’ll pass a children’s playground and then a ton of pet friendly cafes to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat (most places I saw also advertise as dog friendly!)

Had best 3 days and 2 nights. Panoramic views, easy hikes, plenty of car parks, toilet facility and well laid out roads.

We opted for the Peak Travel Pass for £30, which gives decent value if you're planning to explore multiple areas or use public transport frequently within the region. It’s convenient, but do check train and bus timings on a browser or official app, as they can sometimes be off on third-party apps. Missing a connection can cause a bit of a delay in your travel plans, especially in remote areas. Aside from that, the experience was memorable. The atmosphere is peaceful, the air is fresh, and there’s a sense of calm that’s hard to find elsewhere. It’s a perfect weekend getaway from busy city life. Highly recommended for nature lovers and those wanting to disconnect and recharge.

Peak District National Park is absolutely stunning—rolling hills, peaceful trails, and breathtaking views at every turn. It’s perfect for walking, cycling, or just relaxing in nature. The wildlife is a treat to watch, especially the sheep and lambs! A brilliant destination for all ages, and a true escape into the countryside.

Walked the Edale skyline for a charity event at work and it was amazing. Such beautiful views throughout. I would highly recommend.
