Hilton Garden Inn Wooster

Came down for a weekend trip in the area. The pool was small but the perfect temperature. The staff was very friendly. Only issue was the bathroom was a little dirty and the shower curtain kept coming down. Beds were comfy, I will be back.

Very disappointed in my stay. We rented 4 rooms for my neices after- bridal-shower festivities. The entire hotel was under construction. The pool and hot tub were both closed. It would have been nice to have been given this information on the website. Lobby was closed. Construction going on throughout. A complimentary breakfast would have been nice, considering the other inconveniences. I love Hilton properties and always book when I can. Wish we would had been informed.

Went up for a conference. The team was on top of it. They made personal phone calls, letting us know the hotel was under construction and where to find the check-in. They had the dust under control, so it didn't affect the sleeping areas. Everyone was really friendly, and they even had waters and snacks as an apology for the construction. Rooms were really clean and spacious and had everything needed for a good night away from home. They had a nice breakfast set up in the ballroom. Once the construction is finished it will be even better. Ps. The email confirmation had already let us know about the construction. The phone call was just a nice added touch.

Expensive. The food staff were lovely but no one was ever at the front desk to even answer the phone. And the shower in our room was extremely weak. But the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. But very expensive for what it was, especially without breakfast included.

We went here for dinner. The whole hotel is getting a makeover right now. We didn't stay in a room so I don't know what they look like, but the food was absolutely delicious. You can just go there for dinner any day of the week except for Sunday. The chef was so nice and he went out of his way to make sure my one picky eater was satisfied. I'm sure this place will be beautiful once the remodel is done, but for now go show them some love and support by having dinner. You will not be disappointed. The hotel is coming together very nicely. Each time we show up for dinner another part has been completed.

Was there for a basketball tournament. Beds were great. Bathroom was very dirty. I had to clean sediment out of the tub myself. Ran a bath for my youngest and the water came out brown. Only words I heard from staff were “Ma’am. Checking out? Room number?” They say breakfast is available online but it’s a sit down, pay for, restaurant. We didn’t even bother. I’ll stay at Comfort Inn across the street next time.

Situated on the edge of town next to the corn fields in the heart of Amish country, this hotel was a delight to visit. The rooms were spacious and clean, the property was fairly new and well maintained, the staff was friendly and helpful. But the best feature was the restaurant, which is one of the best-kept secrets in town. They have chef who offers a limited menu, but with something for everyone and the food is outstanding. It is not crowded or noisy, and the staff and chef fall all over you to make sure you are pleased. We ate there twice during a week-long stay and were delighted each time. What I liked best was the quiet.

We went downstairs for coffee at 9:45 AM. Both coffee containers were empty. When I asked the kitchen employees if we could get coffee they said they would tell the manager. 10 minutes later another guest came looking for coffee and asked the manager, who finally came out from the back office. Her answer was, “sorry we don’t serve coffee after breakfast, and breakfast ends at 10.” We asked for water but they do not provide complimentary water. We asked if we could buy from the little market area… they don’t have one. So we paid ridiculous prices for water out of a vending machine. Back to the hotel at night, looking forward to a nightcap… the bar never seems to be open. The first night they said they had to close it because the A/C was broken. The second night (Friday) they told us it closed at 9PM. I thought maybe this is just not a busy location and they can’t justify the service positions. But the lot was packed every night. Bottom line, this is NOT what you would expect from the brand. Zero service worth recommending.
