Columbus Metropolitan Library: Hilliard Branch

The Hilliard public library branch is an intellectual treasure and truly a new gym in the Columbus Ohio area. This place is new clean very modern very customer friendly and the staff is incredibly helpful and courteous. Features that one will really like is the four reserve parking spots for curbside pick up. With this very easily accessible program you pull into the reserve spot call the library let them know you’re there to pick up your reserved article or book and they will bring it out to you. This feature was intended for public health but I could see how it would be incredibly beneficial for anybody with any kind of disability or she really likes convenience. By all means consider this place a thumbs up it’s awesome and you will love it.

Clean library, great facilities for my kids to learn and even upstairs for adults. You can book state of the art rooms and they have a vast array of books. One time there was a petting zoo with chicks and rabbits. The summer reading challenge is a must do and you get lots of cool prizes! I love my local library. Lovely kind staff too.

The library is the best option for activities with kids, the best option for a good space to work or to study.

This is our favorite place to visit year-round. My two toddlers absolutely love it here because the librarians always make the experience engaging and fun. The activities are creative, and the staff is friendly. The coffee shop is also a great bonus—they serve delicious iced mochas.

Our favorite place to go! There are always a lot of new books, an amazing kids area, different enrichment programs, and so much more. Libraries are essential!

Edited:(Staff giving guests attitudes. Make up their own rules. RUDE when you ask a question:) ) Clean and welcoming employees. The food is fine at the cafe. I think it's a bit odd to require a purchase from a potential customer that asked for a plastic fork. Welcoming service is fine enough to bring the business in. I don't think the cost of plastic forks for customers exceeds the cost of food.

I go here to work on my laptop for a change of scenery AND I go here with my kids to check out books and events. The staff is friendly and so helpful. They always go above and beyond. I feel so lucky to have such an amazing resource so close. Great young kids area for them to play as well!

An excellent library, the Hilliard branch is a very strong offering in the "people's university" space. It is very well designed, makes efficient use of space, and flows close to effortlessly from space to space. The resources are plentiful and this library makes good use of technology that is aligned with the main branch's tech design. I find the abundance of study rooms, private rooms, meeting rooms, alternative spaces, and other utility facilities to be particularly wonderful. In keeping with the main branch, Hilliard branch has a cafe inside. The Hilliard branch certainly sets itself apart. This excellent library wouldn't be complete without a great staff to bring it to life and they are there to help. I find this to be generally true of CML. Staffers, security, and librarians of the CML system have legendary customer service and care. The Hilliard branch is quite a jewel in this already gleaming crown that the greater Columbus metropolitan area can and should be proud of.
