Comfort Suites Newark

I was reluctant to stay at this property after reading some of the reviews others have posted here. But I decided to go ahead and take my chances because of the reasonable rate and its proximity to Prudential Arena, where I was covering the NCAA Tournament basketball games. ||I'm glad I did.||I couldn't have had a better stay. The room was clean, with everything in good working order, and quiet. The staff I encountered was friendly, efficient and professional, especially the young lady at the front desk who checked me in and out. The parking lot is secure and monitored. And there's a nice bagel shop across the street.||While the surrounding neighborhood wasn't the best, I never felt concerned about my safety. Even when arriving back at the hotel from the games after midnight. I would stay here again without hesitation and recommend it to others.

Excellent Stay – Convenient and Comfortable I recently stayed at the Comfort Suites Newark – Harrison and had a very pleasant experience. The location was convenient, with easy access to Newark Penn Station, which made getting into New York City simple and straightforward. It also worked well for visiting Rutgers University and other nearby spots. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with all the essentials. The bed was cozy, and the Wi-Fi worked well throughout my stay, which made it easy to relax and stay connected. Breakfast was included and had a nice variety of options. I also appreciated the ample on-site parking. Overall, I found this hotel to be a great value for the price. It’s a solid option for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay in the Newark area. I’d definitely return on a future trip.

My flight was cancelled last minute, so I was thankful to find that Comfort Suites had availability. I had just stayed at a Ramada Inn in Parsippany for business while I was in town, and it was terrible! Comfort Suites seemed like the Ritz Carlton after that experience. The woman working at the front desk was SO nice and accommodating. Everything was clean, my room was quiet. Thank you for providing me a refuge at such a stressful time!

Good location. Rooms are large and clean and everything works perfectly fine. Easy parking though you will need to pay $12 per night. Rooms are relatively cheaper than the ones closer to airport. Housekeeping was one of the best I experience. Room cleaned and towels replaced daily. Good hotel to stay in you intend to take Penn station to NYC. Just one irritating comment. The key card keeps malfunctioning and though we did not put it close to our phones the front desk keep repeating it daily until it’s so annoying. Especially the gentlemen’s with glasses

I would say this hotel and the room I stayed in was better than expected. The lounge area was about average. The room I was in was exceptionally clean. The only thing was there was a tiny fly on my pillow. Another thing was that the soaps were too small and the bathroom didn’t have any body wash. However, the bed was big and comfy. Then the mini fridge worked well. Also, I enjoyed the breakfast, because there were waffles, omelettes, sausages, etc. But the only drinks for breakfast were orange juice, apple juice, and water. The main negative is that the location of the hotel was in a bad part of town.

I had a great stay at Comfort Suites Newark - Harrison! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The location is convenient, especially for catching a game at the nearby stadium or heading into NYC. The free breakfast was a nice bonus too. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here several times. The best times were when I stayed in the suite, with a spacious room, and a whirlpool jacuzzi! Just about everything else was about the same as all other bottom to mid-tier hotels in the area. My stay was pleasant.

This hotel was a lot better than that New CS in Newark.. I arrived.. the room was clean u could smell the bleach in the bathroom from them cleaning. Only thing u see people walking around in thr pajamas and somebody kids was making noise all night in the lobby. I’d rather cleanliness and it was clean here. The lady at the front desk was very nice in the AM on 5/13 and the young man w the glasses was nice as well and helpful.
