The food, the atmosphere, and the service were all Great! People were friendly, food came quick, no one tried to rush us... The tacos, the burgers and the giant nachos are what we got (all good!), but they have a lot on the menu, so we'll definitely go back.

Old style historic hotel in the tristate town of Port Jervis. Very short walk from the rail station. Checked in and paid at the bar on arrival and because that closed at 21:00 (on a Tuesday night), you might want to plan your arrival accordingly. ||The hotel's own site does make it clear that it's stairs only being an old building with no rooms on the ground floor. Room was fairly basic. No extra blankets or bedding on quite a chilly night in May. There was heating and aircon. Maybe the ceiling fan was there as a reminder of what things were like decades ago when aircon wasn't such a thing. Windows not that well soundproofed. Bathroom was again basic but nothing special. WiFi worked fine but no coffee. No breakfast either. There's a Burger King and Bagel Café near the station amongst other options.

This review is primarily for the hotel. The restaurant and particularly the staff were very friendly and efficient. Food and drinks were enjoyable. The restaurant has old fashioned charm. However the hotel room was austere! Minimalist decor. Clean however. If you are looking for a place to crash after over indulging at the bar it's perfect. But if you are expecting an appropriate introduction to the beauty of the Poconos, look elsewhere.

Came here for the 1st time on Monday to grab a quick lunch with my daughter. Love the Eerie historical decor. Service was friendly. Great selection of alcohol 🍺 and the food was the expected Americana. Will come back for sure. Thank you.

This place is always nice. I love there lobster tails. Nice drink options if you are into that. Bathrooms are available. There is a parking slot across the street from the church for easy access parking.

Disappointed with the Food Quality We were really looking forward to dining at The Erie Hotel and Restaurant, but unfortunately, the food was a big letdown. We ordered five different dishes — nachos, chicken quesadillas, potato skins, calamari, and pastrami sandwiches — and every single item tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. Nothing tasted fresh, and everything was bland and unseasoned. It’s disappointing when you’re excited to try a place and the food feels like an afterthought. Hopefully they can improve on freshness and flavor in the future. Forgot to take pictures of the rest of the food.

WOW!!! Was meeting a friend half way for lunch and The Erie in Port Jarvis was it. So glad we did, the atmosphere was fantastic especially because my dad was a train man and they had a lot of stuff that reminded me of him. Amanda the bartender was absolutely fabulous!!!! She was very personable and made us laugh over and over, made excellent cocktails and the food was prepared just right and VERY reasonably priced. Are time there set the mood for a great day and will definitely be back!!!!

We have been here several times and always had a great experience. The food is always excellent and the service is good. We went there on Saturday And had another pleasant experience we got the pleasure of meeting Jayda and Sami ! They’re both amazing and we had nice conversations. Sami was an amazing server and took very good care of us. We had a lot of laughs in a very pleasant conversation. We highly recommend this place because we have never had a bad experience here and it gets better every time. They have a wonderful tiki bar area with a totally different vibe. It’s nice to be able to change it up.
