Central Motel

Too bad the owners turned us away before I could even book a room despite their massive “VACANCY” sign being lit up. I ask “Hi, are there any rooms available tonight?” only to be lashed back with a blunt “NO” and a dirty stare as if they had vacancy and were merely judging us for whatever reason.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This should not be a place available to book for travellers. Photos on website are misrepresented of actual area and hotel. Their service or maintenance person not professional and represented very unkempt and dirty and made for uncomfortable feeling when she came to our room. No breakfast was available as website suggests - we wouldn’t have ate there anyway even if there was. Parking lot is literally full of garbage and dark and lerking with questionable figures moving around. We were up checking in our vehicle all through the night. Cable in room doesn’t work; we were told by maintenance person that owner was aware of issues but it wouldn’t be fixed as they didn’t want to put money into the rooms. Cleanliness was very questionable. We were extremely uncomfortable staying here. The hotel should be condemned and it definitely a should not be listed as available for travellers.

One star for the owner/manager checking us in after 11:00 PM. The area was not great, but not terribly bad. The owners were nice; however, the room had a bad odor, there was only a fitted sheet on the bed, which means that I had to cover up with a blanket that probably wasn't washed. The comforter had a big drop of blood on it. The sink had a smear of blood on it. Why is this place not shut down by the health inspector?

I’m not sure where some of these other people thought they were booking a room at but it’s not the Ritz! I travel often and always look for Mom and Pop places instead of chains. We didn’t arrive until late and even waking him up from sleep the man was still super friendly to me. Small room but clean. Comfortable bed. Never felt unsafe as other reviews said. Clean, comfortable and Cheap. Checked all my boxes!!

It looks awful from the outside but the room was large. We had a sitting room with a TV. The other room had 2 queen beds, microwave, bar fridge, Dresser and a full bathroom.

I only needed a place to stay for one night and the Central Motel did the trick. Check in was fast and friendly, the Wifi was strong, and it was in a decent location. My room was spacious and clean. Very nice to have a full sized refrigerator with freezer. It would be a good place for an extended stay because it had a separate living area with couch and tv, a bedroom area with a tv, and then the kitchen with a small table, microwave, cupboards/drawers, and stove top. There is a nice park with a playground across the street and a liquor store around the block. I stayed on the very west side of the motel and it was very quiet, I slept great. I accidentally locked myself out and the manager came and helped me right away. Great place! I would stay again!

Our landlord decided to sell our house in March. This was the only extended stay available. I checked in April 9th. Owner charged me $1200 for each room for a month. He stated rate was $800 a week and $100 a day. I have handed over $6000 to this man in ten weeks. I am paid until the 23rd of June. I came home from work Wednesday afternoon to three city police officers and Mark (the owner) stating that I haven't paid and owe for two weeks. Thank God I had my receipts!! We have had zero maid service, no replacement of sundries, and the law at our door. Not to mention the traffic ALL NIGHT LONG and the stabbing that took place four days ago. He has allowed the victim and the perpetrator to continue to live here. These people are absolutely crooks. Criminal activity daily and used needles in the parking lot. ||We are finding a different place tomorrow. ||Not worth the money, falsely advertised prices, and unsafe for anyone, let alone families

Do not waste money on this place!! The room had a chemical smell to it, when we first entered room. Found a used needle in bathroom. I would never stay here again!! Continental breakfast That's a hoot!! Packaged rolls and stale coffee.. Window would not close properly so was disturbed by the street noise entire night.
