We enjoyed our stay at Hampton Inn at Barnes Crossing! The housekeeper: Sheene was absolutely wonderful, and it really helped make the experience wonderful. She made sure we had everything we needed, and she was very kind and understanding about my mom being in the ICU at Tupelo and said she would pray for our family! It meant so much! Newly renovated summer 2025, kind caring staff and pet friendly! Do not recommend for working professionals. Have stayed here 3 times for 3 weeks at a time for work assignments in town. Convenient to walmart and many food & shopping options. Cleaning staff are amazing and very generous to my elderly pet's needs ❤️ My only complaint is their wifi wont support my VOIP/SIP phone # so I cannot work remotely in my room. None of the front desk staff know what to do to fix that. This would be the only reason I wont return here.

We were checked in quickly and greeted with waters and warm cookies. Coffee is always available as well. All staff were kind and helpful. I'm 77 and have mobility issues. They brought me a shower chair and whatever we needed. Plenty of hot water. The breakfast was hot, delicious and satisfying. It had a good variety of offerings. The beds weren't the best. I've been here often and some are better than others.You don't expect it to be home. Arthritis doesn't help. The pricing is good. We will continue to visit here when near Tupelo.

This Hampton was one of the best hotels for a handicapped person I've ever stayed at. The room was spacious and bathroom setup for someone like me. The bed could be lower though. It's hard getting from a wheelchair up into bed. The service was excellent from the time we went through the main entrance. Desk workers were very courteous and all employees we saw throughout our stay were very nice especially Ms Carrie during breakfast. She was very friendly and helpful Would definitely stay there again if we ever come to Tupelo again. Thanks to all of the staff.

I booked a room for my wife and sent her the confirmation. The hotel also emailed her the confirmation directly. When she arrived, they refused to let her check in because she didn’t know the last four digits of my card — even though she had the confirmation. I was unavailable, and by the time I got to my phone, she had been calling for help repeatedly. What’s the point of a confirmation number if you’re going to play amateur detective at the front desk? This isn’t customer service — it’s a total failure of basic hospitality. Absolutely unacceptable.

Jeremy shells was the nicest person I've ever met in customer service this young man was generally kind and caring he made my visit worth the over price room. Jeremy shells is what Southern hospitality and customer service should be. He deserves a raise . He went above and beyond his job.

Clean and comfortable rooms, extremely helpful and friendly staff (who KNOW college football), fair prices, this place is great! 10/10 would stay again.

Currently a construction zone. Front entrance is inaccessible. Half the parking is taken by shipping containers as the bottom floor is being remodeled. Pool chemicals aren't even close. Friendly staff. Well lit parking lot. Nice room.
