Took my son and a few of his friends last Sunday for his birthday. He also got to work with his new pup on birds. She did great. The boys had a blast as well as I. Shot 15 birds. Spend the day out doing what we love at an amazing place. Thanks, Rice Creek.

I Attended the annual Reed's Gun fair. I highly recommend it. Shoot for free, how awesome. I have never seen so many guns in one place and so many people shooting and I never felt safer. I was delighted to see former Minnesota Vikings running back, the legendary Chuck Foreman, in attendance. He was a childhood sports hero of mine, and probably every other child of the 1970s who loved the Vikings dynasty. Bud Grant coached years.

Great time! They offered tons of crafts for the kids. They had food to purchase. I tried the pheasant wild rice soup. Which was so good. The Santa was great. They had hayrides and dog sliding rides. They had a creek that kids could slide on or skate on. The reindeer came as we were leaving.

What a great place to get away and chase some birds. The fields are great the staff is friendly and the facilities are top notch. I will definitely be going back for some more hunting adventures.
