Stayed at this Fairfield recently and had a mixed experience. The front desk staff was very friendly and the check-in process was quick and easy, which was a great start. There’s also a large parking lot with plenty of space—definitely a plus. The room itself was a good size and appeared clean, but unfortunately had a strong moldy smell that was hard to ignore. The hallways also left a bad impression—carpets clearly hadn’t been vacuumed in a while and there was noticeable litter throughout. The hotel has just one elevator, but it was working fine during my stay. The gym and pool were both on the smaller side but very clean, which I appreciated. The “Corner Market” was disappointing, offering little more than water, Pepsi, Gatorade, a few chips, and a couple cans of Starbucks coffee. Breakfast was underwhelming compared to other Fairfield locations I’ve stayed at. Options were minimal—just scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, waffles, toast, and oatmeal. If you’re expecting variety, this isn’t the place. That said, the lady working the breakfast area was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience a bit better. Overall, this Fairfield has potential but needs attention to cleanliness and amenities to match the standards of other locations.

Our family had an amazing experience at the Fairfield Inn in Stevensville, MI and it was all thanks to the incredible service and warm hospitality we received, especially from Darius at the front desk. From the moment we arrived, Darius made us feel genuinely welcomed and completely at home. He went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, offered thoughtful recommendations, and checked in throughout our stay to make sure everything was perfect. You could tell he truly cares about the guest experience and that made all the difference. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, but it’s the people like Darius who elevate it to another level. We’ll absolutely be back the next time we’re in town. Highly recommend.

Nice newer hotel. Just minutes from St. Joseph where the action is. Close to the interstate. Room was clean and well taken care of. Breakfast was good but get there early, it gets really busy around 9 am, at least that is what we experienced. Staff was friendly and check in/out process was simple.

I have been staying at this hotel on numerous occasions since it opened. The food and personnel have always been great up to this stay. When I arrive, 4:06 PM my room wasn't ready and the woman at the desk said it would be a half hour before it was and to give them my cell phone and they would call me. After and hour I returned to the hotel and got my room. The woman seemed unconcerned that they hadn't called like the said. The next morning at breakfast there were not eggs and sausage and we had to wait for it to be brought out. Each morning, when the breakfast was to start, there was nothing on the buffet and we had to wait. The room was comfortable but is starting to look tired. The couch definately needed replaced. I don't know if I will stay there in the future or not.

Fairfield Inn Stay — Honest Review The hotel itself was in good shape—I’ve certainly stayed in worse. Caroline at the front desk was an absolute sweetheart, but her understanding of how the Fairfield system works… well, let’s just say she was a sweetheart. We booked and paid for our room through Airbnb, yet for some reason, we kept getting charged by Fairfield directly. Still not sure why that happened but it was corrected. One big plus about Caroline: she was actually at the front desk. That didn’t happen often during our three-night stay. When they ask if you’d like room service for your entire stay, say YES. We declined daily housekeeping but requested clean towels each day—never happened. Also, if you’re a coffee drinker, don’t expect those in-room pods to be refilled either. Remember how I said there was rarely anyone at the front desk? That’s where it really became a problem. I called multiple times to resolve the towel and coffee situation—no answer, again and again. The one time someone did answer, I still had to go to the desk myself to get towels. I asked for two sets and was only given one. That was on Day 2. On Day 3, I tried to be proactive. As we were leaving for the day, there was actually someone at the front desk (a rare sight), so I politely asked her to make sure our room had two sets of clean towels and coffee upon our return. She typed into her computer and said, “No problem.” You guessed it—never happened. Now, about the breakfast. I’ve read the reviews where people complain, but let’s be real: if you expect a Cracker Barrel breakfast at a hotel, that’s on you. That said, the selection wasn’t awful. They had cereal (if they hadn’t run out of bowls), English muffins and bagels. If you like peanut butter, bring your own. The gentleman in charge of the breakfast bar “speak no English” and didn’t know what peanut butter was and showed me the sausage —though oddly, it was there the next morning, so who knows? If you’re looking for juice, good luck finding a cup. The sausage and eggs I’m sure was microwaved, and there’s only one waffle maker for everyone. The comfort of a bed is certainly subjective, and my opinion is it was terrible and woke up with a backache every morning. Other than that… it was great!

During my stay which started in Mid Nov of 2024 I was at the location until Dec 18, 2024. |The Staff understood I would be returning Jan 5, 2025, and was glad to assist in helping to store my luggage and other personal items until my return. I am currently still at the Hotel and will remain here until Sept /Oct time frame. 2025| |I would like to start by naming some staff members I have interacted with. || Maryland: which was the Front-end Supervisor when I arrived was truly motivated to help with my long term stay and accommodating some extra needs due to the length of stay always pleasant smile and great attitude regardless of the challenges, she faces thought out the day. | Yassik: Front Desk Staff who was working with me on the phone when i was setting up reservation to ensure I got the extra amenities i ask for due to the length of stay. | Karem: who is the second Shift Front Desk staff has also offered to help when and wherever she can without hesitation| Redy: who works the third shift mostly always have hot coffee early and is also very friendly and fun to be around||The housekeeping staff Managed by Rossana has been awesome. I have switched from night shift too day shift several times, and they have accommodated my every request to help manage my sleep time as best as possible. They leave extra towels and lots of coffee for me as I am caffeine nut for sure ||Most importantly I would like to say when Marriott cooperate personnel have been on property when I am there, they greet me and welcome me every time Thank you Amy for the extra help with my company.||I drive further to stay at this Hotel. There are many Hotels closer to my work however the hospitality and service I receive here far surpasses the other Hotels I have stayed at in the area. Once again just a thank you to the entire team at this location.

My husband and I made a stopover earlier this month with two of our nieces and we had such a great time. The hotel was so nice and clean and even more importantly, the staff could not have been kinder and/or more accommodating. We cannot wait to come back. The hotel and location were both Great!!

Stayed here with my 2 kids and their mom while in the area on business. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, quiet for as busy as it gets too! Great location. Decent spread for breakfast. Would recommend to anyone passing through or just wanting a decent hotel to stay at for any reason or occasion
