Checked in at the Baymont yesterday afternoon for the weekend. My wife chose this location due to its close proximity to all the places we’d planned to visit over the weekend. The room was a little disappointing due to its age and condition. We had room 106 by which the bathroom door would not close completely. The floors were very unclean and sand was everywhere. I wore my sandals the entire time. All bathroom fixtures were old and difficult to manage. I guess the best thing was the AC which worked perfectly. Many reviews indicated possible issues with bugs but we saw none. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows could use an upgrade. Had no issues with other residents during the night and found it to be very quiet. The continental breakfast was a little disappointing because at 8:30 there was no coffee available and there was no one cleaning up the breakfast area. It’s amazing how people will make such a mess and walk away. Overall you get what you pay for. It was a value as compared to other places in the area but was surrounded by plenty of lunch and dinner options close by. Only a few miles to the beach but afternoon traffic can be an issue.

Room was gross, tv we had was broken. They did get us a replacement one after a few hours. Curtains in the room appeared to have either dried blood on them or dark red paint. None of the walls or trim matched the color. Very mildewed shower curtain. The did not change this out during the two days we stayed here. I could not get a refund because I booked through a third party company. Would not recommend unless it is all you can afford. Patched drywall by the door could have been easily painted over but wasn’t done before we were allowed to stay in the room. This hotel/ motel needs serious quality control help. Free breakfast was decent enough was the only positive.

Do NOT stay here!! This is a dump. The electrical plates were hanging out of the wall, bedside lamps were shorting, the hot water was non-existant, not that I would've taken a bath there. The only good thing was the bed linens seemed clean and bug-free. I surely would have moved on if we hadn't been so tired.

Positive: I only liked the location that was it. Negative: The room was extremely dirty, so bad I paid for instacart to being me cleaning supplies to sanitize literally everything, the bed, the headboard, the floor, the toilet the desk...EVERYTHING. There was mold/mildew on the headboard, ceiling, and chairs.

Where do I begin....room reeked of stale smoke even though they were smoke-free. Seat of toilet had cigarette burns on it. Beds were comfortable ish. Its a place people live at. Skeevy people. Cops showed up for one room dispute. Complimentary breakfast wasn't good. Waffles tasteless. Coffee burnt. Hair dryer was missing, they came hours later to replace it. Man installed one out of the box that caught on fire the minute I turned it on. If youre looking for a cheap, low grade spot, this is your place. We WILL NOT be back.

AVOID - Run Down, dirty, and surrounded by homeless people. Avoid this place. I took a financial hit by not being able to get a refund due to third party booking - (and paying on site). But as soon as I entered the room, it wreaked of overpowering Fabuloso to cover up the other gross smells. Toilet had hair left behind. They tried to offer a different room, but it's also the location. Homeless folks or transients use the hotel, and I didn't feel safe with my family.

Don’t stay here. We will stay almost anywhere but we draw the line here. Sink would burb and randomly fill with sewer water. Water came up through the floor by ac. Towel rack was hanging off the wall. Dead roach baby in picture frame. Cheap breakfast. Wall in bathroom moves when you push on it. Floor was nasty dirty like it hasn’t been mopped in a while.

I recently stayed at Baymont and was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of my visit. From the moment I checked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive. They made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable.||||The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed with everything I needed — including a cozy bed, great water pressure in the shower, and reliable Wi-Fi. Housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping everything fresh and clean throughout my stay.
