Hampton Inn & Suites Baltimore/Woodlawn

I'll admit I'm a big fan of Hampton Inns, and this one delivers on all that makes this chain great! Its a real comfortable and convenient stay in the Baltimore/DC area, with easy access to highways, stadiums, and harbor views. The hotel is safe for the kids to get around and my personal favorite was the always amazing breakfast that I can kick off the day with. The staff and management were also so helpful. Traveling with the whole family is not always easy, but I was able to call ahead and figure out if I could get a room with more handle bars for the in-laws. The team here made the whole stay easy, which I truly appreciate.

I had a wonderful experience at the Hampton Inn & Suites Baltimore/Woodlawn. The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the housekeeping team did a great job. I especially appreciated the hot breakfast in the morning — it was fresh and had good variety. The location also felt safe and convenient for my needs. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others visiting the area.

Warning, DO NOT STAY HERE!!! It's a wanna be Hilton brand. For the prices they charge, SAVE your $ and go elsewhere. Heck stay at the Quality Inn across the shared Parking lot. As a frequent traveler I have never in my life experienced such a horrible experience from a front end staff. They have no experience in hospitality and need training. It was excuse after excuse during the entire stay. Not once did they even attempt to apologize for any issues. We booked this place as it has a pool, only to arrive and see a green pool. You're better off swimming in the Baltimore Harbor!!! Oh yeah did I mention the - AC does NOT go below 74 degrees - broken elevator (used the stairs to get up and down) - 1.5+ hour check in wait time - 1 bath towel for a family of 4 - Broken iron (Cut my toe on the iron board missing the rubber cap for the ends on the base) - Green swimming pool (I think I saw the loch ness monster) Someone please call the health department! - No room safe Yeah list can go on, rarely do I ever complain, but I wouldn't want your family with children to have to go through an experience like this at the rates they charge. Step 1, start with hospitality educational classes for the front end staff at the local community college or even just YouTube it.

We had expected a Hilton Branded hotel would be professional and an amazing experience. However it was a very disappointing experience. From the check-in process, where the guys did not look like they worked there, no professionalism, just wearing street clothes, they did not welcome my group or I in a professional manner and most importantly, our large group had to wait almost 1 hours to get our rooms, although we had a large contingent booked and still the rooms where not ready after the posted check-in time. The excuse was we don't have much staff. Furthermore, the pool was not cleaned properly as its a salt water pool and it was dirty. When we asked to clean it, they shut the pool down and cleaned it after 24 hours. Not sure which hotel does this when they know there is a big group at the hotel and its a weekend. Also during the stay the elevator broke down and for the whole 3 days no 2nd elevator. My family members got stuck in the elevator and there was not even one apology given. With so many handicap and elderly people in our group, waiting for one elevator was terrible. There was no note or update on what the management was doing to address this issue. I am sure if the urgency was put on the repair, it could have been done quickly. And at the least some sort of notice should have been posted telling the guests the efforts that were being made by the management to take care of this and apologize for this inconvenience. Very unprofessional. Standards have dropped for a Hilton branded hotel. I hope they improve. Rooms were otherwise nice, lobby clean and breakfast was good for the hotel. But lack of experience in communication and management is what I felt. A lot of these issues could have been resolved with better communication and value for the guests' business.

We spent three days at this hotel, which impressed us right from the start with its clean, well-maintained rooms. Staff was very friendly, efficient and helpful. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breakfast. It was a delightful experience, with vast array of options with fresh and an excellent quality.

This hotel was a LIFE-SAVER!!! We had a room with this hotel's neighbor-Quality Inn. After some MAJOR issues with our rooms at that hotel, (DO NOT STAY THERE, by the way!!!), we ran across the parking lot to this hotel! The hotel was nice! The front desk staff took care of us-even with the slight issue we had in oir room. Breakfast was delicious! I liked the different waffle batter types to make your own waffle (strawberry one day and banana the next) along with the different types of eggs and meat served each day. My brother did not want to leave! The pool area was cold so if you have to sit in there, bring something to cover yourself! It is indoors, which is a huge plus! I liked the fact that there was a noise curfew unlike their neighbors. I felt that my car was going to be ok parking in front of that hotel. Even though this Hampton Inn is right across the parking lot from that other place, the difference was night and day!

Do not stay at this hotel! It shares a parking lot with a quality inn motel which does not look very clean from the outside. I stayed one night at the Hampton in room 505 and woke up with a bed bug crawling on the bed. I took pictures and videos to share with the hotel staff. The manager of the hotel refunded the cost of that nights stay and credited my account with 10k Hilton points. In my opinion only being given 10k Hilton points is unacceptable as that does not even cover the cost of a future night stay at different hotel. I would highly recommend not staying at this hotel for leisure or business.
