Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Breaux Bridge

Overall my experience was pleasant. The woman at the front desk was super nice and our room was clean. They provided breakfast and they have a pool. The mattress was a little hard and we brought our own pillows. My only complaint was the air conditioning was a little loud. But other than that it was perfect to get a shower and have a nice comfortable place to sleep for the night. The price was great and the location is right by everything.

We were just passing through on a road trip and arrived a little after 12am and we were up and gone by 6:00am. However, even within that short window of time we were impressed by our stay. The hotel room itself was very basic, but was clean and had what we needed. The breakfast spread had more variety than that of the Marriott Collection. The woman working the front desk was the kindest & most welcoming individual (I’m embarrassed I didn’t get her name). It’s rare you roll into a hotel in the wee hours of the morning and are welcomed by a bright & bubbly person behind the desk. Such wonderful energy, 10/10 give that woman a raise!

We just did the Cycle Zydeco bike tour and stayed here for four nights. Everything and everyone was EXCELLENT! The rooms were clean and cleaned every day with fresh towels!! Beds very comfortable. The continental breakfast was good. Lisa the manager was very,very helpful !! If ever in Breaux Bridge , LA check this hotel out! Five stars!!!

Where do I start...this was the Nastiest hotel I have EVER stayed in...the front desk clerks are very RUDE. I stayed the first night and over looked the carpet stains all over the room. Saturday after I returned back to the room about 2:30pm I realized housekeeping had been in. The beds were NOT made, the literally spreaded the bed. The restroom was not cleaned at all. Once I noticed, I called the front desk and asked what service did housekeeping do to the rooms & I was told that they would do anything I wanted them to do. I asked was I supposed to make a list and she said no. They act like they didn't understand what I was asking. Needless to say they finally sent the worker to my room and she stated that they told her I wanted her. I asked for cleaning supplies & I cleaned my own restroom. The morning of check out, I was told by the young lady that brought me cleaning supplies that the ladies at the front desk told her to check on us because the black people was giving them trouble. I did not like the small thing on the tv that appeared to be a camera that I had not noticed upon checking in the room. It was a total MESS. The owner needs to read all of these horrible reviews and revamp. The location is good because it's near the highway and Walmart. The service is less than what I'm use to while traveling. Please do better and train Staff and do better at Housekeeping. I'm beyond disgusted and disappointed.

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was less than stellar. The only real issue with the hotel was the cleanliness of the room. The hotel does not appear old, the rooms had granite countertops, the beds were comfortable, but...everything was filthy. The carpet was stained from one end to the other. The sofa was disgusting with all sorts of caked on stains of dubious origin. Two of our allergy-sensitive family members began sneezing upon entering the room and continued to do so until we left the room the next morning, further evidence of an uncleaned room. It was as if a nice budget hotel was built and then nothing more than changing sheets was done for upkeep. I suppose the good news for the owner/s is that all that needs to be done is to rip out the nasty carpet and sofas, and give the place a thorough deep cleaning. When this is done the facility will be on par with normal budget hotels. Until then, I would strongly advise looking for another hotel in Breaux Bridge or in Lafayette.

Me and my daughter had a reservation for a room with two beds. They gave us a room with only one so they gave us a roll Away bed that was very uncomfortable. rude front desk employees. The rooms are dirty. Stains on the walls and also the carpet. The shower was nasty. The handle to the shower was broken beds was extremely uncomfortable. Pillows are flat. And again very rude front desk employees

We have stayed at thus hotel since it opened. Its clean, staff is friendly. The ownership has changed to Motel 6. TV quit working. Internet sketchy. Room was clean, but no coffee pot. We always bring our own anyway.

Staff was very friendly and very welcoming. Mrs kitty at the front went over a beyond to make our family vacation amazing and we are very thankful for her. Rooms were clean with service happy to assist in anyway. Pool was salt water and clean. Very nice place. Breakfast served each morning offering a little variety each day. Located right off interstate and within mins of fast food, walmart, etc. Very nice.
