Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lincoln South by IHG

The parking lot was really nice and located in a super safe area. It was quite peaceful. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. As I headed to my room, everything looked fantastic. The carpets were in great shape. The walls were nicely painted as I entered the room. Everything was spotless, and it smelled great too. The only downside was that the refrigerator had some mold inside. The shower head in the bathroom provided amazing water pressure. The bed was comfortable, firm but with a soft pillow top. There were four large, fluffy pillows, and thankfully, no bed bugs. Overall, everything was tidy and well-organized. Their breakfast was top notch, perfect scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, and fresh made pancakes. I was really happy with my stay. The price was a bit on the high side, but considering what you get, it was totally worth it.

Almost perfect experience. Spacious room, comfortable bed and pillows, great options for TV, exceptionally clean, great surroundings in suburbs of Lincoln. Staff was pleasant and check in was efficient. Though reservation was through a third party, they added IHG reward points (not so at another Lincoln location). Breakfast was somewhat typical Holiday Inn Express fare but well supplied, clean and tidy surroundings. The room rates (even apart from the website we used) are very reasonable. Air conditioning was responsive and not noisy (helpful). Bathroom was well stocked with towels and toiletry items and was also generously spacious.

Good hotel located on the outskirts of Lincoln, but still close to so much. Nice greeting and welcome. Pet-friendly and we were upgraded to a suite. Nice room. We were comfy and everything worked like it should. We can hear a bit too much noise from other rooms (dogs, stomping) but we play a white noise app and cover it up. Overall, it was just fine.

Excellent customer service and exceptional care - even more than our usually pleasant experiences with other Holiday Inn Express stays. Kind, clear, and professional communication over the phone, and at the reception desk upon arrival. Matthew and Mark helped us reserve and check in, and Mark exemplifies the kind of service you'd dream of - even offering to monitor the parking lot for security and also to make sure no one left their headlights or interior lights on. Our suite was roomy and very clean - and the most comfortable king beds we have had in the last week. Breakfast had a great variety of food offerings and the manager was keeping up with the demands for pancakes, omelettes, sausage, cinnamon rolls, etc. There were bagels and cream cheese, jam, oatmeal, and hard boiled eggs, as well as Oikos yogurt and real juices like orange, cranberry, and passion fruit. Muffins, cereal, and on demand coffee that grinds and brews individual cups for freshness. Zero complaints. We generally choose HIE, but this was especially pleasant! Great job at this location, Lincoln South!

Excellent workers here. Everybody was so friendly and nice. Had to stay for over a week due to my husband in Bryan Hospital. Rooms were very clean and staff is all very accommodating. Would definitely recommend taking a dip in the pool

Positive: Hotel Employee at the front desk was immensely helpful. The rooms and beds were comfortable and clean. The lobby was welcoming, and the breakfast was delish! The eggs actually tasted like eggs. Negative: The washing machine had to be set to delicates for it to work.

Hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. Whenever we had a request it was honored without attitude or delay. Booked a two bedroom room suite and to my surprise it was very clean and fresh. Linens were clean with no bugs detected. Beds were comfy. Hotel was quiet besides the few kids including mine that were running around. Pool was clean and not crowded. Breakfast was good I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because we don’t eat pork. More vegetarian options would be great! Overall it was a great stay. My daughter will be attending the University. This hotel will officially be my choice of stay whenever I visit.

Pool situation is terrible. There is no ventilation and the sound is so loud and horrible that it can be heard from the lobby. The rooms doors are so thin you can hear people walking in the hallways. "Breakfast" is too limited and low quality to be considered.
