Went in for a back up camera and ended up with new stereo headlights and fog lights as well as the backup camera Jamie and the team did an awesome job working on my jeep. They were fast efficient and cost friendly can't speak highly enough. Made a new friend as well.

EDIT: I had no problem with a fee to take it apart, that is obviously going to be part of the price, as any human could use context clues to put together. What I DID NOT enjoy was being smarted off to and spoken to like an idiot. I would've had no problem with their fee if he hadn't spoken to me so rudely and unprofessionally! Went up there asking for help with my car radio, just saying that I think it may just be unplugged or not properly plugged in, and got smarted off to that if I could tell what was wrong with it then he might as well hire me to fix it. He then continued to talk down to me like I didn't know how quotes for a service worked. I'm not sure if it was because I'm a woman or if it was because I was still in my Taco bell uniform and he assumed I couldn't pay for it, but either way very unprofessional and these guys lost a customer.

Great attention to detail! New Garmin Force trolling motor and SV126 chart networked to console SV106 and connected to LVS34 transducer equipment installed professionally and end result provided a very ergonomical and good looking system. Richardson Electronics personnel were great to work with. Big thanks for this install!!

went into richardson electronics hoping for, i don’t know, basic human decency and maybe a little help with my car radio. silly me. i mentioned that i thought it might just be unplugged, just trying to give some context, and was immediately hit with the ever-so-charming response of, “well if you already know what’s wrong, maybe i should just hire you to fix it.” stunning customer service. someone give this man a trophy. after that, he proceeded to explain how quotes work, like i’d never encountered the concept of money or basic transactions before. thank you so much, kind sir, for enlightening my poor, feeble brain. how would i ever survive without your condescending wisdom? can’t tell if he was just having a bad day or if talking down to people is a full-time hobby. either way, 10/10 on making a paying customer feel like a complete idiot. definitely won’t be back. but hey, if you enjoy being treated like you’re bothering someone just by existing, this place is perfect for you.

I had the best experience at Richardson Electronics They were so knowledgeable and friendly and set my live scope on the boat so it has the best picture ever Jamie even set up icons to make it easier to go from one mode to another He spent time giving me some valuable tips on how to find fish with scope I highly recommend anyone who needs boating or car electronics work go see Jaimie and get it done professionally

The absolute worst service that you can possibly ask for. The only reason I’m giving a star at all is d/t the fact that it is the only electronics store in town and the fact that it won’t let me give 0 stars. We started off by calling the store about our broken audio system and we were told to come up to the store and they would see us immediately. We get to the store and are told that we are going to have to wait. We were okay with this and understanding. So we talked with Jamie about concerns we were having with our audio and mentioned we only needed to explain what we needed and we would leave the boat with him and come back and pick it up. Jamie immediately went and helped other customers, who got to the store long after we did, while we waited for 1.5 hours. We finally got his attention and he continued to say it would be another little while of a wait. We left and will not be doing business with Jamie and I would highly suggest people to not waste their time at Richardson’s electronics in Jasper, AL.

went into richardson electronics just looking for a little help with my car radio. i mentioned that i thought it might just be unplugged or not connected properly, y’know, trying to be clear, and immediately got hit with some smart remark like, “well if you already know what’s wrong with it, maybe i should just hire you to fix it.” hilarious! then he kept talking to me like i had no clue how quotes or service work, like i’d just rolled in from another planet. super condescending, like he was doing me a favor just by standing there. not sure if the attitude was because he’s sexist or if he just enjoys being rude to customers for fun, but either way, it was grossly unprofessional. if treating people like they’re beneath you is part of the business model, congrats, you’re nailing it. won’t be back. ever. and i’ll make sure everyone i know hears about it too.
