This is an older motel. The owners have remodeled 8 rooms and doing a great job. It's a bit difficult finding it but worth the stay. The room was nicely decorated clean and the most comfortable bed we've had in 2 weeks on the road. Thanks and we will stay here again.

I was in town for work for about a week. Thee room was comfortable, clean, and it is within walking distance to a family dollar (across the street), a couple restaurants, a grocery store, and downtown Grangeville. If im ever through the area again, I'll be staying here!

Everything was great. Excepted that there was only 1 roll of toilet paper, and when we tried to go to the office, no one was there, ever. We had to go buy toilet paper!

Stayed here July 2023. Cute little motel . They have remodeled 8 rooms of an old motel and done an excellent job. The bed was comfy, the room clean and they stocked you with more than two coffee pods and provided tasty creamer (the good stuff not those nasty powder packs). As previous guests have stated the biggest demerit would be the thin walls. The guy next door to us I am sure was raising the roof with his snoring. So be warned- bring some ear plugs. Yes, I give this place 5 stars because they deserve it :)

We stayed in four different hotels on our trip This was the last one and the best one. It was very clean the owners ready to help you find a restaurant give you some ice whatever you would needed. It was quiet the bed was comfortable No traffic noise no train. No neighbors that was pounding on walls or walking upstairs. Definitely will be going back if we go through Grangeville again.

My boyfriend is staying in this wonderful establishment over the summer and fall while he is in Grangeville working and I was here for a week visiting. We are both extremely well traveled and have stayed in many hotels throughout the country on business trips. The hospitality and accommodations here are superb. The family owned atmosphere is alive and well. The staff has been exceptionally accommodating of our needs. So friendly!! The mattresses are super comfy and high quality for a very restful sleep. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and homey. All the coffee you can drink all day, and snacks! We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you Julie , Wade and staff for your kindness! We recommend The Elkhorn Lodge highly to other travelers. It's a gem! You will not be disappointed!

We stayed for one night and absolutely loved this place. When we checked in, the lady at the desk was very kind and helpful. We entered our room and fell in love. It was a cottage feel with the comforts of home. Everything was clean and smelled nice. There is only 4 or 5 rooms total so it's very quiet which we loved. The price was also amazing for the room you get. Definitely will stay here again if/when we come to grangeville.

We came into Grangeville on motorcycles June 2024 in a real heat-wave, desperate for anything that had beds and a bit of a/c. The Super8 was sold out but the kind lady there steered us to the Elkhorn a short distance away, run by Julie. The poor woman was reputedly in a wheelchair (broke her leg?) but still rented us a room by phone for the night. From the outside the place looked in slightly tough shape but inside was ideal. Clean and cool at a reasonable price. What a lifesaver. Thanks Julie.
