Heatherhill Farm Campsite

Heatherhill campsite is tucked away in a quiet location, well kept and peaceful. The owner was helpful - fitting us in at short notice and allowing us to extend our stay. |For late season, the site was busy and we met campers who stay regularly, because they love it so much. |It is basic - toilet, sink, rubbish disposal. No showers. But there are lovely walks to he had nearby (try Win Hill from the campsite).

We have been camping at Heatherhill campsite site for a year now, and try and get every month! Sue, Don and family are amazing. We have made good friends with them. It’s really peaceful and the scenery is beautiful 😍lily and Thomas the farm dogs visit us every day when we are there. Super friendly. There are beautiful walks to go on ie Ladybower, Hathersage, Derwent reservoir. Highly recommended 🥰

First time staying at Heatherhill Farm Campsite and what a little diamond this is. Fantastic facilities, very clean, well stocked toilet facilities and washing up facilities with free apples and lots of walking, hiking and other options nearby. The owners were extremely friendly and relaxed and made the whole experience lovely will definitely be coming back.

Gorgeous little campsite. We've stopped here twice this year. A great base to adventure the peaks and ideal for the train station which is a very short walk away and a stunning line up to Manchester. Very peaceful and quiet and very friendly and overlooked by Bamford edge

My first visit to Heatherhill campsite, a small site with 2 fields one is mainly for vans and moterhomes. Facilities are basic with a toilet no showers there is an area to wash pots and get drinking water. I've just stayed for 2 nights grate location I did a Winn Hill circular from the site just under 7 miles. The campsite is really peaceful relaxing on an evening, glass of wine while watching the sun setting. Only a short drive to Hope, Hathersage or Castleton will definitely go again.

Lovely little site! It's basic.. one toilet and one sink in the washing up room. These though were spotless and Plenty toilet roll. Small site. All pitches (I think there are 8-10) are clost to the toilet. Little play park opposite the site. Lovely walks nearby. Bamford in walking distance if people want to have a wander around, eat out etc. This was a lovely site. I felt safe travelling as a solo female with my child. I had a roof tent and the owner and her son were accomodating and responsive to texts etc. affordable as camping should be. Got to watch some bird of prey hunting this morning before I left. Will be back!

Me and my husband stayed at Heatherhill Farm for a weekend. We had a lovely stay and the views from our pitch were stunning. There is one toilet which is made clear on the website, It was always clean . There is also a little washing up area. There is a really nice dog walking field a minutes walk from the site. We were a 40 minute walk to Ladybower reservoir which is definitely worth seeing. We would definitely stay again for a weekend break 🙂
