Amazing show in 2018. At first I was disappointed that dogs were not allowed, but after attending and seeing all the animals that are there, I fully understand why this is not suitable for all dogs to attend. Amazing for children. Ample parking and the toilet facilities were perfectly clean all day. The shows, events and activities were brilliant, well thought out and varied. The staff were all lovely, spoke to the children and had a lot of patience. A lovely fun day for all the family that I can highly recommend!

It was okay. After attending the Stokesley show only a few weeks ago (which was absolutely incredible), I was really underwhelmed today! This was such a large showground, and well organised, but there really wasn't much to see, if you're over the age of maybe 10/12. The activities for children did look brilliant! Young handlers for sheep was the absolute highlight, as was the dancing sheep/shearing show. Really good! Would've been good to see some goats (there was only about four), and it was really hard to get into the market stalls- it was so crowded, there wasn't a hope of me being able to see the craft stalls inside of the tent, nevermind battle my way to the front and buy something! I really would have liked to buy something, but it was just so frustrating and difficult inside of the tent, and even the hall layouts were just chaos. Entry fee was just too much for what you get, especially if you don't have children. Would've been nice to see more hand washing stations too, or just some hand sanatisers at the animal tent doors.
