Wydon Farm

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wydon Farm. Linda is a kind and gracious host who is eager to make her guests comfortable. Room is spacious and well equipped. Beautiful home-cooked breakfast is provided. The surrounding countryside is a breath of fresh air!

Can't fault this place. Really comfortable high spec room. Even microplastic free tea bags. Fantastic breakfast. Linda is a great host. Easy 20 min walk into the nearby town of Haltwhistle. Very convenient for Hadrian's wall sites.

We liked it so much we wanted to change our itinerary so we could stay another night -we couldn’t but will be back asap. Spotlessly clean, really comfy bed and excellent facilities all round and one of the best B&B breakfasts ever. Not because it’s fancy, it’s just all the ingredients really are top quality and cooked by someone who knows exactly what they’re doing. This place is a gem and as a little indicator of hospitality, we wanted to go into Haltwhistle and Linda told us the route… then offered us a lift. We didn’t ask, she suggested it. Wish we could have stayed another night.

There were 5 of us in our party but unfortunately the single man couldn’t have the great experience of staying at the b&b as they only had 2 rooms available. However Linda kindly catered for him to join us for an exceptional breakfast. The whole stay was tremendous, rooms, friendliness, garden, cleanliness were all worth 5 stars.

This was a lucky dip of a choice. We found excellent clean well furnished accommodation, the service was excellent as was the location is rather too far from the town for an easy evening walk. Would not hesitate to recommend this b and b to anybody.

Form start to finish a tremendous experience. Linda welcomed us warmly then showed us to our rooms which were spacious, spotlessly clean, and comfortable with a range of toiletries and a wide range of drinks. Linda was very happy to share her local knowledge. The breakfast was excellent with first class service and a lovely atmosphere

We had a wonderful warm Northumbria welcome from Linda on arrival. It was only a one night stay but it was a great pick. The room was spacious, big comfortable bed, warm, a big bathroom with good shower pressure and a separate bath. The kitchenette was a bonus allowing us to prepare a basic meal. (Microwave only). Speaking of meals, breakfast was fab! Big heart breakfast, Linda spoilt us, then we hit the road well rested and with a full belly.

Had a one night stop over here while walking Hadrians Wall. Host could not do enough, very friendly. Great breakfast. Would like to visit for longer in the future. Definitely worth staying.
