A small, peaceful campsite conveniently located for Hadrians wall and much more. The facilities are excellent and clean. The staff are extremely hardworking and spend a great deal of time and effort on site maintenance. Walks nearby in the Bellister estate. Shower cubicles spacious , plenty of hooks for clothes etc. And each cubicles has a fold down seat....weight limit 20 stones! Shop with basics on site. Sainsbury's in Haltwhistle less than 3 miles away. Recommended.

We had an excellent stay at the Haltwhistle Camping and Caravanning Club Site. Although the site isn’t actually in Haltwhistle itself, it’s in a lovely spot and very easy to get to. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome from Paul, the manager, which instantly made us feel at home. A special mention also goes to Gill, who was equally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The site looked amazing — immaculate, well presented, and clearly cared for with pride. Everything was spotless and well maintained, making it a pleasure to stay there. We couldn’t have asked for more and would highly recommend this site to anyone looking for a friendly, welcoming, and beautifully kept place to stay.

Nice site, lovely warm toilet block. Camping area was ok, bit in the middle. Site needs to turn some lights off on the main block, way to bright and waste of energy. Site location gets a 3 as we visited on bikes and it is right at the bottom of a massive hill.

We stayed here for two nights, we booked last minute due to another campsite being unsuitable. It’s a lovely little campsite on the edge of the river, with a dog walk right beside the river, toilet/shower block is lovely and clean and well stocked, 3 washing up station and even a accessible toilet for which you need a radar key, the site is well maintained and we had a lovely reception when we arrived. Kath told us about the site, told us our options and even showed us to our pitch. There was only one bad part and that was that there was no cake in the shop 😂

Lovely small quiet site with an excellent dog walk. It takes about an hour walk to get into Haltwhistle through woods and by river. The staff are lovely. The site is well maintained and very clean.

We have been caravanning for some time now but have only recently joined the Camping and Caravanning Club and this was our first visit to a club site. We are members of the "other" club as well. We absolutely loved this tranquil quiet site with only the sound of a nearby river, sheep and birds to be heard. The staff were lovely and very friendly, escorting us to our pitch by bicycle when we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble. There was no light pollution at all so the night sky was clear. All the facilities were very clean and well looked after as was the whole site. Well positioned to visit the many tourist attractions in the area this site is definitely worth serious consideration. Highly recommended and we will certainly be visiting other club sites in the future

Worth a stay for campervans, caravans, and tents. Clean site (although not big), 40 mins to Carlisle or 90 minutes to Newcastle. Clean toilets, showers and grey/dirty water emptying facility. ||Follow your satnav to get there, or you’ll get list driving up nooks and crannies. ||Nice polite welcoming staff makes it great.
