Nice caravan site. The access roads from Fordingbridge are narrow in places. Dropping from two way to single lane. Just take it easy. Good entrance to the site, with number plate recognition for the barrier. No need to go to Reception, as pitches are preallocated and notified by email before arrival. Nice reasonably level pitches in the Green area, with good hedges between pitches and well kept grass areas. The on pitch electricity is charged separately. The meter readings can only be seen online. Over 10 days in October we used ~ 65 kWh, which cost ~ £35. That's £3.50 a day at about 53p per kWh. The site meter readings were pretty close to our on board meter readings, so there's nothing to worry about there. Just allow more than £3.50 / day for winter and less for summer. The facility block is fairly modern and kept clean though it might be a bit small when the site is fully booked. The Tia Restraunt is nice. The food was ok. It could have been a bit more spicy for us. Lovely, attentive staff. Thanks. There is a small shop in Reception with limited provisions. But there's a supermarket in Fordingbridge. There's plenty to do in the region, and the New Forest has some fabulous walks. All in all, we had a good 10 days here and the site is good. 😎👍👍👍👍

Absolutely loved our stay at Hill Cottage Farm Camping! The site itself is peaceful, well maintained, and surrounded by beautiful countryside, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The pitches were spacious and facilities clean, with everything we needed for a comfortable camping trip. But the real highlight? The Thai restaurant on site — genuinely the best Thai food we’ve ever tasted. Every dish was bursting with authentic flavour, cooked fresh, and served with a warm welcome. A total hidden gem and worth the trip just for the food alone. Highly recommend this place, a brilliant combination of nature, tranquility, and incredible dining. We’ll definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stayed here in our motorhome on the serviced pitches. Absolutely stunning site with everything you need. Lovely walk along a path from back of site through woodland to village and lovely pub. We also had a wonderful walk to Fordingbridge across the beautiful countryside all off road. Really enjoyed looking round Fordingbridge and the visit to the museum (especially as my Mum was evacuated there in WW2). All in all a wonderful site in a great location. Thank you. Diane and Chris 🙂

Really wonderful site. So quiet with an amazing little trail linked on. There is a little play park for young children and the facilities are really lovely, clean and well looked after. The showers were very hot but that's better than too cold. No fires allowed which is a shame but no Mark down for that. Hard standing and grass set up options and electric hook up. My kids absolutely loved it. Can't wait to return!

Amazingly kept and quiet site. Very busy this weekend due to the weather but everyone seems to be enjoying themselves quietly. We have had a pitch on the hedge along side the road but hasn’t bothered us at all, minimal traffic. This site is very modern and has smart metered electricity on each pitch. You can simply log on and add funds or check usage whenever you want. Plenty of hot clean showers and toilet around site. Drinking water, bins, waste depositing areas dotted all over park so never too far to walk. Number plate recognition on arrival allowing you through the barriers. Best of all is the amazing woodland walk to the local village where there is a nice pub, co-op and post office. Shop on site isn’t massive but has everything you need for camping etc and thankfully ice creams for this weekend. The other nice touch is that there is a washing machine, tumble drier and freezer on site. We used the freezer to chill drinks before going on our walks. |We will definitely be back and have mentioned to family members with campers. The only thing we would have liked is to have been able to use our table top fire pit but strictly stated no open fires or fire pits so we thought we would play it safe and leave it at home. We totally understand why they don’t allow when you see how well kept the place is so no big deal.|Well done to the Hill Cottage team!!

Just come back from a stay, site is nice however due to large groups being allowed to stay it was noisy at night, at 2am there was still a couple of noisy groups keeping other campers awake. A few more toilets/showers would be helpful to avoid queuing, the toilets and showers would also benefit from a deep clean. One couple in the group were due to stay again next month but are now looking to cancel and will look to stay at a different site. With a few minor tweaks this could be a really lovely site.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Hill Cottage Farm Camping & Caravan Park. The site had everything we needed and was extremely well maintained. The toilets and showers were always spotless, which made such a difference.||Our children had a fantastic time exploring and really enjoyed themselves, which made the stay even better for us as a family. The park felt welcoming, peaceful, and well looked after – a perfect spot for a short break.||We’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Hill Cottage Farm to anyone looking for a clean, family-friendly, and relaxing place to stay.

Shocking customer service. We booked for 7 nights with friends and were allocated pitch 19 and 20, unfortunately our friends had to cancel last minute and we were then moved to pitch 71. Pitch 19 is lovely and flat and sheltered from the rain by a tall hedge, pitch 71 is on what can only be described as an overflow field which is sloped downhill to pitches 70, 71 and 72. We got set up and the rain started (not the sites fault I know), the awning was flooded in minutes and totally unusable. I asked why they had put us on a pitch that they know will flood and they answered that they wanted to keep 19 and 20 free in case a group booking came in and that they were running a business. There were 8 vacant flat pitches they could have put us on. Holiday completely ruined so came home the next day. It cost us £220 for 1 night. Absolutely disgraceful.
