A group of co-workers and I gathered to say goodbye to a friend who was leaving the city and we found this awesome location. The park has ongoing renovations and it's looking beautiful. The shelters by the playground are free to use and they have their own grill. The sand is nice and as clean as can be. I later brought my daughters and spent the day in the Sun. There is a fee to use the boardwalk but I also saw that people are allowed to fish so I guess it's worth it. There are bathrooms near the Main building and all around it's a gorgeous place to visit. There are more parks ahead on the main road but you need to most definitely have a car because from Frank C. it's a 45 minute hike and about 1 or 2 miles.

This is a great beach, with miles of sand to walk! There is pay parking $2.00 per hour and it's not too crowded. The parking money's go toward replacing sand and maintenance of the beach. I found if you can get there just after a leisurely breakfast (9am) stay untill 11, then head out for lunch, everyone is happy. Not too much not to little.

Nice clean little park for kids 2-12. Fake grass fall zone. Picnic tables with coverings, adult work out areas and a volleyball net. To me it looks like it was recently redone.

Very peaceful! You can go early and watch people fishing from the coast, Watch the planes prepare to land, collect seashells and relax. Water was warm that day, perfect weather.
