The worst courier delivery experience we've ever had. We had a message saying the parcel would arrive that day - it didn't. We had a similar message the next day - the parcel still didn't arrive. We received an email from Maxine apologising. When the parcel eventually arrived, it was ripped open and virtually shredded and the contents soaked and had to be thrown out. There's been no apology. Our order was with Viking, a paper supplier. We will NEVER consider using DX or Viking ever again. Do yourself a favour and steel well clear.

04/10/25 If possible I would have scored zero We have recently had 2 deliveries issued to DX Delivery Service (Exeter Depot). They advised the items would be delivered 8am to 6pm. On both occasions they failed to deliver. Th first item (L9146393) they tried to deliver to the wrong postcode and wrong village. They then advised it would be delivered the next day between 8am and 12pm. It was not delivered and on enquiry they said the item was damaged! The second item (L0314764) they failed to deliver and their tracking indicates it is being returned to the supplier in Nottingham. When we enquired 06/10/25 they said the item was damaged! DX Delivery are useless and I advise people not to use them. 06/10/25 - Update Looking at DX's response below, this is again atrocious customer service. You have all the details in my review. So if you cared you would investigate and respond. All - be warned - DX Delivery are useless and I advise people not to use them. 16/10/25 - Update DX failed to deliver a further consignment L0763701. Again they delivered it to the wrong village. On enquiry I was advised to raise the issue with the sender! I managed to collect the parcel from the wrong address. 17/10/25 - Update I visited DX Exeter Depot and spoke with the General Manager who was attentive to the issue. He considers the issues are a result of driver error and agreed to raise the issue with the driver. He has emailed me to advise that the driver has been made aware of the issue which should be addressed going forward. We will see what happens with the next parcel given to DX!

Ordered from a supplier because they could offer fast delivery. I needed the item urgently. I was given a delivery slot from DX however they didn't bother to turn up. Incomplete address was their excuse. They had the same full address as Amazon, Royal Mail, Sainsbury etc etc etc all of which never failed to find us. By the way I had emailed DX the day before as they kept asking for my phone number. Well they had already text me with the delivery slot! They didn't bother to respond. Phoned DX customer service waited 15 minutes to get through when I did the person couldn't be bothered and put me on hold to speak to my local depot. They promised to phone me back, but didn't. So suppliers you want to lose valued customers and orders use DX for your deliveries. I've cancelled my order! The DX website is sickly sweet, lovely images and text promising the earth! They just don't deliver. Pun intended. Oh and just look at their reviews, I'm not the only one.

Not good at all! Young lad knocked on the door looking very stressed and then climbed into the back of Sprinter type van, he was there ages and all I could hear was clanging and banging so I investigated only to see him clambering all over the boxes and parcels like they we're nothing. As it happens my box was the one he was kneeling on to look further back in the van! Box was squashed and it had fragile stickers over it so that meant nothing. I opened the box in front of him to check my £700 fire which also contained glass wasn't damaged as I would have refused delivery. There was far too much in the van there were lorry tires metal frames and lots of big boxes just thrown in there. Whether that was the loaders or the young man as he was doing his round I don't know All I'm trying to say is no respect was given to the parcels, the engineer is already booked in so if the fire was damaged then that would have meant a delay. Not happy at all.

If I could give 0 I would. Took the day off of work for a delivery and 20 minutes from my delivery window had a message to say delivery had been attempted and I needed to rearrange. The driver was nowhere near my property on the tracking. The live chat function is beyond useless and they do nothing to assist. Received a call to say I could collect from depot and they’d call me back to arrange. No one called me back and then the live chat said to contact them again the next day. I did this was told they couldn’t get hold of the depot. I have finally found a number to speak to an actual person and am waiting for a call back.

Ordered via Amazon 25/7, tracking advised tried to deliver but on hold as needed more information. 3 days later tracking updated to say at (Exeter) local delivery depot. Rang and on hold for 55 minutes, cut off twice, spoke to Jilly who said it would delivered 5/8/25. Stayed home and no delivery. New tracking update 6/8/25 to advise arrived at local depot. Absolutely no idea where my package is and impossible to get through to someone to ask. Used email contact and telephone, live chat useless robot. Have feedback to seller they need to change their courier and will cancel order.
