Quaint but large cottage. Stay was great. Stairs are not for the faint of heart or if you have mobility issues. Great kitchen and baths. Plenty of hand soap and dish soap. Bring your own soap, shampoo, salt and pepper.

As many others have shared, Lacock is a 14th century time capsule. While you will most likely go to the Camera museum, or the Church here, search out and pay a visit to the little shop next to Wadworths. While it has been an active business, It has been sealed up since the 80's and is a little bit of ubrbex that you can do (from looking in the window, not going inside). See how many items you can recognize from your childhood.

La abadía es muy bonita e interesante, rodeada de unos campos y jardines magníficos. La aldea de Lacock es muy bonita también, pero es una pena que el permitir que aparquen vehículos dentro del pueblo estropea el ambiente y no ayuda a ambientarse en esa época.
