Just returned from a 2 night stay, found a pitch easily, lovely big field,we liked the fact we could choose our pitch. The girl at reception was lovely and all the staff we met on the field were chatty and really nice too. The toilets and showers were so well kept ,changing to another block late morning so they could clean the one from the morning rush of campers. Never seen such an immaculate shower /toilet block before, the whole site was spotless and it was a bonus having a park on the field too. Never had to use the car as the village and beach were in walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back next year

Location can’t be beaten, 5 minute walk to East Wittering town. Nice country walks across the fields to Ellanore Lane/West Wittering. |Large site. Friendly staff. Good clean facilities. Plenty of toilets, sinks and showers are spacious with dressing area inside cubicle. |It was low season, March, so we were able to pick our spot to set up camp. Quiet location along the edge of the field. |Weekend got busier with regulars staying at their caravans on-site for the season.

I have very happily used this campsite for over 7 years now, and my extended family for over 50 years, but over the last couple of years I have noticed a significant decline in customer service and in increase in an arrogant stance and tones from most of the staff.||There have been several overcharges for having a car with a motorhome, when there are only two of us; something I will also mention again later.||My wife and I stayed recently, for one night in September, and I was met by a most delightful and helpful young lady, who I informed that my wife would be coming later in our car, which is already on their system; and has been to the site on numerous occasions previously. ||When my wife arrived on site she was accosted by the same helpful young girl at the request of the manager, who was still on the walkie talkie when she reached my wife in the car. My wife, had to explain in detail that this was a car not a camper, as it's an unmodified Toyota Alphard.||She was asked:||Was it a camper?||Can the roof be raised?||Are you going to sleep in it?||And the best one – there are three dogs in the boot, are they going to sleep in it?||This was all from the manager, and my wife could tell that the young lady had become utterly embarrassed by the whole thing.||An utterly preposterous thing to have to go through, when all the manager had to do was ask the young lady if it was pre-booked and was it a car. I do despair.||On Friday 12th September, my wife, her mother and two sisters used their facilities, only for one night due to the weather forecast. ||I drove the motorhome to site, as I am the only qualified and insured driver for it.||On arrival, we were greeted with the normal, ‘How may I help’, and that is where the pleasantries ended. My wife didn’t join the party until 1600 ish.||We were not asked whether we wanted electricity or an awning, so the charge for electricity was automatically added. When we were given the total price I had to ask to have the charge for electric removed. No apology for the mistake was forthcoming!||Later that afternoon, around 1600, my wife arrived on site and asked if she could drive through to our pitch as I had to drive back to Fareham, so the car would only be onsite for ten minutes while we swapped over. She was charged £5 for this evolution which she was told could be claimed back on exit, if she was under 10 minutes. I thought this was a bit extreme. I collected the £5 on leaving but in utter bewilderment of a most unusual and time consuming practice.||On the Saturday, my wife and her family were accosted by an irksome young chap, with little, if any, manners, who said they needed to pay for the awning, as it had not been charged for; again because we had not been asked at check in.||My wife mentioned that she had been charged for the car because there were 4 of them; I have asked for an explanation of this rule, because if the car is the only form of transport that moves, due to the motorhome remaining stationary, what is the difference?||I arrived at reception at 1600 Saturday 13th, and asked if I could take the car through so that I could drive my motorhome off site, as we had to be clear by 1700 at the latest.||After consulting the manager, the guy at reception said I would have to pay £5 to get in, I stated again that I’ve got be off by 5! And the campsite was empty apart from the seasonals and 1 or 2 others.||The guy at reception said that I could have the money back if I was less than ten minutes, I told him that I couldn’t guarantee I would be less than ten minutes, especially if the girls hadn’t finished packing away. So I stated that I was not paying £5 just to get in to remove my motorhome by 5! I became extremely frustrated by this attitude and left reception with raised anxiety and stress levels, for which I have to take daily medication!||I drove down the road, faster than I should have but I’ve just explained why; and my anger was rising due to the increase in stress and anxiety.||I parked the car by the wooden gate and started to walk through the back field to my motorhome in field A. As I was walking through the field the same irksome young chap who had verbally accosted my wife over the awning payment did exactly the same to me.||He did not start with excuse me sir, or otherwise, and I could hear the manager talking to him on the walkie talkie. He blurted out that because I had driven off quicker than I should, he actually said because I floored it – which is wholly incorrect, the manager insisted that I move the car off the site completely and that the manager did not want to see me again! I said that he would have a job as I was the only person that could drive my motorhome.||I turned to walk back towards the car and the young guy on the buggy said for the third time that I had to move my car completely off site. I informed him that yes, I understood so there was no need to repeat that again. So, he said it again and again! An extremely antagonistic way of dealing with an already extremely irate and agitated person.||At this point, nobody had asked whether I would be able to make the long walk from the town back to the site or any other empathetic queries.||I parked the car off site and started the long walk back to my motorhome, which had to be offsite by 5!!||As a very nearly 60-year-old man with many ailments including, a kidney transplant, rheumatoid arthritis, and two significant heart problems I was very wary of making the walk back, especially as this whole thing was meant to be so quick and easy. ||I had accidentally left my phone at home so could not call my wife to come and pick me up.||I managed to get back to the wooden gate where I had to catch my breath for 10 minutes before continuing on. I finally made it to the motorhome completely exhausted.||The ladies finished packing up and I had to gee myself up to drive the van home to Fareham.||We all the left the site but once I got to the rest stops on the A27 I had to pull over for a good 30 minutes, just to let my body reset itself, from what had been an absolutely ridiculous and unnerving, verging on barbaric, series of events; AT A CAMPSITE!!||||My advice would be to find any other site but this one, as there are plenty in the area, especially as when I turned up mid September ||||The site and its staff have drifted towards purely money making and lost all sight of customer service and even how to be civil, with no sign of any resemblance of manners. I would have to add that the behaviour is aggressive and did trouble me somewhat, as I've explained.

A real mixed bag here. My parents arrived before us and wanted to pay for our pitch but were not allowed to as we weren't there. Then they got talking to some neighbours who were pitching a tent on the pitch next to their van and they said it was for their daughter arriving later....so how come they were allowed and not us? Then a member of staff came and told me dad he would have to pay £39 a night extra for a tiny bike tent that was by the van. So he took it down. Seriously there were BBQ setups that were bigger than this tent, how can they justify an extra £39 for a little tent clearly not big enough to be slept in when a full size awning attached to a caravan taking up half the pitch is only £5 a night? A really sad experience that has meant after a good few years of my parents staying at Scott's farm they will no longer be visiting. Like others have said, if your face doesn't fit, they will have it in for you. It really put a downer on the weekend. For the cost of the pitch, one would expect the toilet disposal area to be unblocked, and the toilets to be well stocked with toilet roll. However, I will say it was very clean in the loos and showers most of the time, and the pitches are a really good size and it was quiet considering the enormity of the site!

Stayed here with 4 kids. Really impressed, toilet, shower block and wash up area always really clean. Play park for the kids was great and really central. 15mins walk to stony beach but you can then walk along to west wittering which took about 30mins with slow walking children! |Staff were all friendly and really helpful when my car wouldn’t start. Tesco express and coop 2min drive away. |Only comment would be more bins especially in wash up area and more hooks outside the showers and sinks.

Myself and family have been going away camping for 50 years , belonging to caravan and camping clubs with lots of great memories. I moved away to France 5 years ago and have been hearing about my family's weekend aways to Scott's farm . During my visit home to spend with family my brother-in-law kindly drove their motorhome to Scott's Farm so myself, two sisters and our mum could stay 1 night and return back to Fareham after dropping it off. The location is ideal for walking distance to the sea, shops and local restaurants. Unfortunately the owners need to take time and train the staff including the manager some basic customer service skills, whether you're arriving at the site at the beginning or at the end of the season being welcoming, polite and courteous is so important in keeping your business successful. We left the site just after 1 night stay shocked and uncomfortably angry with the way my sister and brother-in-law were spoken to on arrival and leaving the site. This attitude is totally unacceptable and definitely not needed from site staff . My family have a total of 5 campavans and caravans and will not be using Scott's farm in the future. We have never in all these years come across such rudeness from a campsite .

Lovely campsite, great facilities in terms of showers, 🚿 toilets, 🚽 washing up areas 🍽️ Also very clean. ✨ Plenty of electric hook up and non electric hook up camping areas. ⛺ All staff we encountered were lovely, friendly and helpful. 😊 15 mins drive from West Wittering 🏖️. 15 mins drive from Chichester which is home to plenty of shops, restaurants and entertainments. 🛍️ 🛒 On warm days ☀️ be prepared for traffic and lots of it in and around The Witterings and Chichester! 🚙 🚘🚗🚌 A fab place to bring kids with lots of space for them to play. Great children's play area too 😊 🛝⚽🏓🧸

It's a shame that I'm writing a bad review about Scott's Farm because I have been coming here for the last 24/25 years. We had an awful experience with the staff members over the weekend that we stayed. We were told on the Friday and Sunday night that we were there to turn our music off at 10/10:30pm by very rude, entitled and patronising men. Please note, we weren't a 'big' group, there was 12 of us. 4 children & 8 adults. Nowhere on their website does it state that big families cannot camp together. It says that they 'do not cater for groups of adults without children' to which we did. Once being told to turn off the music, all we did was sit and listen from our tents everyone else around us having fun, kids still screaming as the park wasn't closed, people being drunk and listening to music at the toilets and singing. It felt as though it was just our family who were being told off for doing something. This weekend just gone, some family members went back to the campsite for a weekend of camping again (like I said - it's family tradition for us), only to be told by the staff member at reception that there weren't allowed because their car - as well as all of ours - had been 'blacklisted' and we weren't welcome back to the site. Our family who were there questioned why we had been blacklisted as we felt we didn't do anything that was worthy enough of a ban, and they said simply because we were 'rude'. If we were rude, it was only because we were having a reaction off of the way we were being spoken to by family members and we were questioning why we were being told off but no-one else was. Once we were told by our family members that we had been banned, we called reception to see why they had come to this decision and again, we got very blunt & rude responses, and eventually, mid -conversation , we were hung up on. |I am unsure whether management has changed, or there has been a whole new revamp of staff members - but they do seem to have a very 'entitled' attitude. I saw someone complain on Google reviews and they said 'if your face doesn't fit' and I do feel like we felt that way. |I have emailed Scott's Farm to ask for an explanation and to resolve it because we would hate to be banned officially. This has been our family tradition since the 80's. And I have been coming for the last 25 years. Now that I have my own kids, I would hate for the tradition to end.
