Interesting place to visit with nice grounds but not many buildings you could actually go in and cafe quite expensive so best take own picnic.

My visit was to the Chilterns Open Air Museum. The Museum is well worth a visit. Very nice staff, helpful and friendly. Very interesting and lots to do for kids. Some areas are not suitable for wheelchair access. Mobility equipment is available if booked in advance.

This was an old university 📚 campus but such a shame that Bucks New University sold it for a massive revamp of their main High Wycombe town centre campus. The 1990’s Buckinghamshire Business School campus was sold off to many individuals companies from supermarkets for western M25 distribution centre to luxury banqueting hall for weddings 💒 but it suits best a study retreat for a calm place of study.

Great day out, lovely walk and the buildings were fascinating. We particularly liked the 40's prefab which you could almost imagine living in. The volunteers who run the place are all friendly and love to tell you about the exhibits

Came here for a retreat. It's my first time, and maybe it will be the only time. The food quality was bad, over-cooked vegetables almost everyday. Breakfast with sausage that tasted like rubber, bacon that were soaked in oil, very milky scrambled eggs etc. You can tell they used frozen food and didn't even bother to reheat them properly. Even sweet corns went wrong. I had bad quality food before but this is the worst. That's the major let-down. Minor, bearable let-down like dated bathroom that only gave boiling hot-water, water wouldn't' go down, the flush in my friend's room wasn't working. Thankfully they sent someone to repair it the following day that makes our remaining 3 days simply bearable. I will not recommend anyone to use this venue. Unless you bring your own food.

I had one week there. I don't know the price for the accommodation, however it was clean and simple. Fast coming hot water, simple very healthy food, some other facilities like cafe, session room, free drinkable water etc. Perfect place for relaxation, enjoying nature.
