Brian was wonderful. He apologized for having me wait long even though my reservation with the Genius Bar started 30 minutes ago. He was helpful. Upon calling the store to follow up on my repair (they were going to call me two days after to bring my phone in, but hadn’t called) I heard the call pick up and then immediately hang up. I call a couple days later, I’m placed on a long hold, and the representative picks up and then hangs up. This happened three more times for a total of five before I write this review. I’m making a reservation at a different Apple location, hoping they provide better service.

I recently attended a demo for the Apple Vision with my friend’s parents, and it was a terrible experience. I made three appointments, expecting a proper demonstration of the product. I had the demo before so I knew what to expect. Unfortunately, the person responsible for the demo barely acknowledged us and did not show how the Apple Vision works. Instead, we were left to figure things out on our own, which was incredibly frustrating. It felt like they had no interest in showcasing the product or answering our questions. This poor level of customer service and lack of engagement made it clear they didn’t care about selling the product or providing a good experience. For a brand like Apple, which is known for its innovation and customer service, this was very disappointing. I expected much better. Would not recommend attending a demo based on this experience.

Dear Mission Viejo Apple Store, I came prepared to spend 1k+ in your store on opening day of the new iPhone 17. However, being denied entry to the store I was told to stand in line outside the store in order to obtain permission to enter, only to be told there that I must come back at later time to stand in line yet again. Finding myself unable to spend money in your store, I retreated to the warm comfort of the online store which happily accepted my money. But I do love my Apple products and want to wish you and your store success in your all endeavors, whatever they may be…. Regards, Lee Colburn

Went in for urgent need and help as my phone froze on recovery mode and the battery health at 90 percent. Being urgently in need of my phone… he was helping 4 people at once rushed and as kind as he was he couldn’t find any other solutions not only erased all my photos and videos and all my memory of my dogs all clean also my iCloud Photos are wiped clean? Called Apple customer service they say that should have not been the first choice to reset and delete all …

Tyler and Courtney are truly heaven sent, this was by far the best experience I have had at apple. I was dealing with an extremely frustrating situation with my phone and these two saw that and helped me right away, solving the problem I was having. They were so understanding and compassionate which I couldn’t have been more appreciative of. Apple- you need more workers who are willing to go above and beyond to take care of the guests in store, it meant the world to me! Thank you Tyler and Courtney!

I am computer challenged, so let start by saying I need lots of help with my Mac Air. Tyler is the Genius technician who helped me. He is upbeat, friendly, intelligent, and kind. He answered all my questions and never lost patience if I needed to see how something was done more than once. I went to another computer repair shop to help me get back into my locked out Mac.( I forgot my password) they wanted me to leave my computer and pay $100. Tyler had it fixed in only moments. Lesson learned that I need help start with Apple. I am very impressed with how they treat their customers. They made sure every step of the way I was checked in and helped. Tip: located in Mission Mall close to Nordstrom, upstairs

Friendly staff, painfully long wait times. Wanted to buy a MacBook Pro, was told I had several people in front of me. I went online and saw that Best Buy (about 2 miles away) had what I wanted, new and discounted. Shoulda helped me out before I caught that. Oops.

Worst experience with Apple so far. I purchased my iPhone online, and the delivery was delayed by two days - without any explanation, apology, or compensation. When I visited the store to finally pick up, the staff showed zero interest in helping, despite the fact that I had already paid for the item. Very disappointing service from a brand that claims to prioritize customer experience.
