On Saturday 8 August 2025, I was awaiting the delivery of four brass radiators and valves that I had ordered from Best Heating’. On the day of the long awaited delivery, the driver of the delivery truck phoned to confirm he was on way ahead of delivery. So far so good. The truck on which my pallet was onboard was an 18 tonner (I believe) and it hardly made it up the narrow lane on which I live. The grumpy driver off-loaded my one pallet of two brass 6’ tall radiators and two standard size brass rads, the boxes all being marked ‘Heavy’ with a two man to lift symbol. Using his electrical pallet mover, he dropped the pallet outside my main gate and refused to move the pallet a further five feet so that the pallet would be on my property rather that at the edge of a public highway. I told the driver that as a 70-year old man, I would be challenged to move the contents by myself . He just replied “that’s a matter for you. Do it a piece at a time”. Quite honestly I was dumbfounded by his lack of professionalism and awareness to my situation. Very poor customer service. The driver of a South Norfolk refuse lorry who was held up because of the delivery and had overheard my conversation was equally amazed and said, “he expects you to move that lot?” So no, I am very disappointed by the quality of service that Palletforce provided, and the lack of awareness and understanding of your driver. While I understand that the delivery may be made to my property, if would have been greatly appreciated if the driver was prepared to move the pallet just a further five feet into my property when the pallet would be secure behind a locked gate and I could have summoned assistance to move the load. I stayed at home for the delivery today of our new fire. The lights were on in the house, the car was on the drive but they did not ring the bell - instead left it on the drive and put on the tracking note that it was signed for by my husband. A complete lie - he is at work! I only discovered it going to the car to get something - the fire could have been taken.

On the day of delivery (Wednesday 4th June), I was at home alone and working. I had stayed home all day not knowing what time the delivery would take place. The delivery driver parked on a driveway that was not near my front door and refused to relocate the vehicle to a more suitable drop-off point. When I asked for assistance in moving the delivery to the garden gate, I was met with repeated refusals and was told that he was only permitted to do a “kerbside drop-off”. As a result, I was forced to leave the house and walk around to the garage in an attempt to find a workable solution. The driver stated that the delivery would not fit through the garage and again refused to assist any further. He also refused my request for a collaborative lift — whereby he would raise the pallet and I would support the product — citing that he could not touch the item or enter any part of my property. Ultimately, I had to unwrap the delivery myself and carry the product piece by piece into the garage. Many of the components were heavy, with some weighing over 30kg. During this process, one of the pieces slipped and caused an injury to my leg. All the while, the driver stood by and watched, offering no assistance. I found the situation incredibly distressing and intimidating, to the point that I was in tears. This experience was not only physically demanding and painful but also deeply upsetting. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of care and basic human decency shown during this delivery. I would like a formal response to this complaint, including an explanation of your kerbside policy, and what training or guidelines are in place for your drivers in situations where customers are clearly vulnerable or in need of assistance. I also ask that you advise what steps you intend to take to ensure no other customers are subjected to such treatment in the future. I look forward to your prompt response.

At the gate you will be hosted by the very rude gate man . Definitely your fault if you are comming there for a first time, you will be humiliated by the gateman , I don't think that anyone ever has humiliated and embarrassed me ever in such bad way. Lucky I won't go there anymore 🤮🤮🤮 Disgusting place considering you are speaking to the gateman only.

Unfortunately, my experience with this company has been disappointing. Several deliveries have arrived damaged, and the overall service quality needs improvement.

I ordered from a reputable garden supplier and paid £70 for express delivery to receive three pallets of garden materials delivered on the Thursday before Good Friday. We placed our order on the Monday, so I was pleased to see that they offered delivery on the Thursday. However, when we found out that the courier was this company, and after reading the reviews, we were dubious about whether the delivery would arrive on time. The main issue we encountered was a lack of communication. We called the garden supplier on Thursday morning around 9.00 am and were informed that our delivery was the second of the day. By 2.00 pm, it still hadn’t arrived, so we called the supplier again, only to be told that we were the next drop-off and that our delivery window was between 3.30 pm and 5.30 pm. Fortunately, my partner works from home, so we weren’t pressed for a specific time slot. At 4.30 pm, a lady from the courier depot called us to confirm that the driver was ten minutes away. She explained that the reason for the delay was that it was the last delivery of the day, with our house being located closest to the depot. So the driver could do our drop on his way back. By 4.45 pm, our three pallets finally arrived and were delivered curbside. Personally, I believe the main issue is the lack of communication between the supplier and the courier company.

I want to take this opportunity to thank Mo who runs A2 door,about 5 weeks ago I clasped on the yard floor with a suspected heart attack Mo aswell as many others rushed to my aid I have to admit I was scared and I remember asking Mo please don't leave me to which he replied Derek I'm going no where. Eventually I was taken to hospital,Mo had to go back to his duties and Dave Roberts stayed with me for hours, then after Mo had finished his shift he turned up at the hospital to stay with me. It was arranged if I got the all clear I would be going back to Manchester in a taxi, but Mo being Mo said not a chance I'm taking you back i replied Mo you have worked all night but he would have none of it. Mo drove me back to Manchester knowing he had to work again that night. Mo your compassion that night was amazing I will be forever grateful. So Mo I consider you a life long friend thanks again.
