One of the worst managed retail service experiences I’ve encountered. This store trades heavily on Apple’s premium brand, yet the service quality falls far short of that reputation. Despite booking appointments in advance, I have been left waiting for over an hour on multiple occasions across recent weeks. Appointment times appear to be largely meaningless. Worse still, after my device was held for hours for a repair, I was told the issue had been resolved, only to later discover that nothing had been fixed. When raising this with Apple Support, responsibility was deflected entirely, with the store described as a “separate entity,” offering no accountability or resolution. Overall, this was a deeply disappointing experience. A third-party repair shop could deliver faster, clearer, and more effective service than a global brand charging a premium to support its own products.

Second time if has appalling service. Rush to make a Genius Bar appointment on time - left waiting 40 minutes before seeing a technician and it want a busy day. First bad experience was waiting over 2 weeks for a screen fix. No updates.

Exceptional service from Steven from the Genius Bar. I show up to a busy store with broken headphones and within 5 minutes I had new functional headphones at no cost. It is clear they priorities great customer service over just trying to charge people as much as possible and I will be going to the Brighton Apple Store for all my purchases going forward instead of online.

I don’t know who it was who served me today, but basically I thought I’d cracked the lenses of my phone (which is what my work told me and told me to go and get it fixed - it being a work phone). He kindly told me that I had a protection screen on it (which is what I originally thought) and removed it for me and wouldn’t take any money. I then asked him if he had a charity to donate to, who would he donate to and he said anything related to dogs. So this is to say thank you to the anonymous lovely Apple chap who fixed my phone and I’ve donated 20 quid to The Dogs Trust to say thank you.

Visited the store to exchange my old phone and buy a new one. Kathy was incredibly helpful and lovely, going above and beyond to ensure I had a good experience and everything went smoothly. What a delightful human, thanks so much!

Very poor service, had an appointment but told no time to repair phone so it would be sent away although they had part and would repair if I had appointment next morning but mine had to be sent away! Rearranged early appointment and phone repaired yet when I collected I was told to sit and someone would bring it - 30 minutes went by whilst others came in and collected their items - whilst my item wasn’t brought out, staff apathetic and don’t care - such a disorganised store. AVOID

Lost 10 years of my life in this shop today. Came in with my autistic son and explained the problem, waited over the allotted time till our number was called, then waited some more until someone came. That was hard enough with my son but then the guy started serving other customers and leaving us to try and do the fixes he was advising ourselves. I explained the situation again with my son and asked him not to leave us so he got someone else to help who didn’t know what he was doing either. We got to the shop at 11 and we weren’t done until 2pm!!!! Absolute stress for all involved which could have been avoided if he just stayed with the customer he was serving. Why is the model like this?
