Liked: Nice, warm welcome from Christine. Lovely little site. Hardstanding or grass pitches. We chose the pitch next to the Alpacas and Whisky the Shetland Pony. 1 mile walk into Barnoldswick where there are pubs and restaurants. We got a taxi back. Basic facilities of two toilets and one shower (£1 for 6 mins). Washing up area too. Really had a nice little stay here and can't wait to return.

Liked: Great location, very welcoming. Pitches were a good size and not too many so felt like you had lots of space. Alpacas in neighbouring field were nice to watch. Nice walk past the rugby field into the town of barnoldswick which has some nice bars and restaurants Disliked: Having to pay £1 to use the shower wasn't great but you do get 6 mins which is more than enough.

Liked: A peaceful retreat in immaculate surroundings. A pleasant 15 minute walk takes you into the centre of Barnoldswick which is well served with many restaurants, pubs, independent shops and cafes. The site itself has well spaced pitches, consequently, I'd guess maybe a dozen in total. Therefore, don't be put off by '2 toilets, 1 shower'. During our 4 night stay they were vacant when needed to use and always regularly cleaned. We recommend a 25 minute bus trip into Skipton if you have time. A beautiful market town with canal tours and many shops etc. (timetable attached in photos). You can have a pleasant walk to the canal in Barnoldswick from the site if you fancy a stroll. In summary, a beautiful site with a warm welcome from Christine and good local advice. Plenty of interesting amenities nearby. Can't wait to return. Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Really lovely site, welcomed by the owner on arrival and shown to our pitch. Really handy leaflet given on arrival with details of local walks into town and along the canal and all local amenities. Facilities all well maintained and clean and cleaned through out our stay. For the size of the site I was initially concerned 1 toilet for each sex and a single shower would not be enough but in reality it was never a problem. Likewise there was only one washing up sink but again never had to wait very long to use it. Great location to relax, go for a stroll and some nice places to go for a bite to eat or coffee. Will definitely be back. Disliked: Only slight negative is the absence of a cold water tap in the toilet, so nowhere to brush your teeth! We managed but it would have been a helpful addition. Doesn’t detract from our positive experience though!!

Liked: Friendly, clean, quiet site. Short walk to Barnoldswick and its pubs and restaurants. The owner met us on arrival with a handy leaflet with site info and local walks etc . Disliked: Shower is £1for 6 mins, more than ample for a good shower, not particularly a dislike but useful to know.

Liked: A beautiful site in a great location. It’s a small site, really quiet with great facilities that were immaculate. It’s a working farm so the kids loved seeing the calves and the llamas/alpacas. The walk down the canal towpath was lovely and we ate a restaurant recommended by the owner in the information leaflet. Great communication from the owner who was friendly and very welcoming. I would definitely recommend this site just wish we had booked more than night and stayed longer. Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Absolutely lovely site. Peaceful, rural and all the basics provided in a very straightforward way. Champion site manger who was very accommodating to us being new to campervanning, landing in the wrong pitch, and managing to wash away the lid of our Elsan cassette. She went above and beyond in helping us to retrieve it and we are very grateful (and apologies, again :-)). Will definitely visit again and highly recommend.

Liked: Lovely site, clean, tidy and peaceful. Close to the Barnoldswick historic circular walk and canal. Easy to exercise the dog on the very quiet lane outside. Disliked: Someone letting their dog poop behind our van, not the site owners fault. We have dogs on leads, walk them away from the pitches to poop and always pick it up. Whoever it was please be more considerate.
