Seward Bus Line's

09/2020- updated with pix 2018- I’ve been coming here for the last five years as needed. I’m happy with the services staff are so friendly, helpful, and fast. They’re very good to answer all my questions. Same day services to Seward. I have family that i’ve sent down food, medicine, mail, pair of glasses; she left him last time she visited and more. Easy to drop off your goodies and it’s easy for your party to pick it up in Seward.

We checked out the office the day before our ride because the phone was not answered. Did not like what we saw. Office was locked at 10 am and had to bang on the door. Very unorganized. Said our luggage would go down separately. The busses looked dirty and unkept. The two people in the office could not answer questions. We had a very bad experience that did not inspire trust, we decided to go elsewhere.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!! They kept us waiting in the cold and left for Anchorage over an hour late, causing several passengers to miss their flight. The shuttle and bus were disgusting, covered in grime, and smelled of dirty diapers and cigarettes. The waiting room smelled of urine, and the bathroom floor was covered in urine and animal feces. The owners, Manny and Nancy, were incredibly disorganized, clueless, and rude--taking no responsibility and offering no apologies for leaving multiple customers stranded at the airport after causing them to miss their flights. The bus windshield was terribly cracked and held together with duct tape, the "check engine" light was on for the entire 3-hour ride, and the vehicle rattled around unstably for the whole trip. I rarely leave reviews, but this was absolutely insane. Save yourself the cost of a new flight and book somewhere else!!

I was really worried about booking with this company, but in the end, all my worries turned out to be for nothing. The reviews that you see on Yelp are far stretched. The buses themselves were not the cleanest, but nothing too bad, just normal mess from heaps of people walking through. You will not miss your pickup if you prepare yourself early. The bus leaves from the depot, so all hotel pickups are done way earlier to ensure everyone makes it and departs on time. As for the drivers, mine were lovely! I didn't have any problems and when I called they answered any of my questions. I arrived on time and had no issues.

The vehicles seem like they could use some TLC as they made funny noises as we drove and the windshield was cracked. Our first driver made me nervous as he was talking & looking at the person in the front passenger seat instead of looking at the road. I'm from our out of town so maybe he knows the road like the back off his hand but it was still nerve racking. Our driver on the way back had some toast rage going on. It was snowing and he was in an obvious hurry to get back to Anchorage while he showed his frustration at having to share the road with other people who were just driving their vehicles or staying to walk into the cross walk (obviously, everyone else was supposed to read his mind). My daughter's favorite saying is "but did you die?" The answer is no. We did get to & from Seward safely. Just be prepared to have your anxiety flare up. It was the only option I could find at the end of March so I'd probably do it again if the need arised. If just check for other alternatives first.

Have ridden the Seward bus line from Seward to Anchorage it was a great experience we stopped several times to use the bathroom everybody was real polite there was great conversation on the bus the driver also answered lots of questions and drove very professionally he allowed us plenty of time at rest stops and made sure that we had ample time to get snacks and everything from a store before we left would totally recommend this to anybody definitely an easy way to get to and from Seward that spending a bunch of money.. thank you for the great service

Tourists that visit Alaska hail from different walks of life and have different expectations. In terms of what was important to us, this Bus line delivered on all fronts. This bus line is the most cost-effective option we found to go from Anchorage to Seward. We took the sight-seeing option that made one stop at the Beluga whales point on the Turn Again Arm. Our driver Guss explained why it got the name Turn Again. There was not much narration on the tour - the driver was a senior gentleman. There were only 2 stops - the Beluga point and the Alaskan Wildlife Center. Every time we called, we had the most courteous conversation with Nancy. If you are looking for good options to transfer between Seward and Anchorage, do give them a try.

This bus line was suggested by Anchorage Visitor Center. It was our worst experience in Alaska. The bus was dirty and no WC for a 3 hour drive. The company owner was in the bus and treated us like dogs. He screamed to us, when we mentioned about stopping to the restrooms. The company is not allowed to enter Anchorage downtown. We were dropped off in their office in the city edge. The driver was kind and he drove us to downtown. Finally they the price was US$10 more than the price they announced.
